“We stayed with our 5 month old baby and it was perfect. Loved the whole experience - the apartment was modern, very new and clean, with a minimalist design that felt homey, all the amenities were so stylish and thoughtful (the washer-dryer was super efficient and not too loud). good soundproofing in the bathrooms too so no issue about waking baby up. Super spacious, which was great - really felt like home for a week.
The staff were very responsive and reliable. Location was wonderful, off a...

“Loved staying at Tabi Ueno Tokyo. It was clean and modern with a Japanese feel. Given we had a small child, having a washer/dryer in the room was fantastic. The location was great, we could walk everywhere and about 5min walk to Ueno station, the Ueno Zoo, markets. Easy access to trains required for day trips. Would definitely recommend Tabi Ueno.”

“The hotel feels very new and somewhat self-serve. There are people in the front lobby, but they are there mostly to help you navigate the self check-in kiosks. There was a large queue of older European travelers checking in before me and they seemed to struggle with the self check-in process, and so it made for not the best first impression of the place. Once checked in, I found my room to be really small, but not atypical for Japan. Everything in the room was clean and comfortable and well...

“We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The neighborhood was nice and not as busy as the city center, which we appreciated. The hotel is also conveniently located near the train station.
The dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was excellent, and the staff were very kind and welcoming. There are also convenience stores like 7-Eleven and FamilyMart very close to the hotel. The room could get a bit warm. We used the air conditioner, but it didn’t cool the room as much as we expected. ”

“Everything was fine but it sounds a lot from the trains passing just outside. If you want to get the view that the hotel has shown in its pictures, you need to live quite a few floors up. One thing I'm unhappy about is that the hotel wanted to be paid quite a lot to offer us an earlier check-in even though the room was ready.”

Nice small hotell very close to Senso-Ji Temple in Asakusa and under ten minutes walk to Asakusa Station. The rooms were small but nice and practical. We really enjoyed the breakfast offerings, both the western styled and the japanese styled. It's just a shame that they ran out of some of them if you came a bit late in the mornings.
