“Dirty, the are is very bad you have to be extremely careful! You should avoid this motel!!!”

“The room seemed clean, but the bathroom was a little dirty. They require a $300 deposit, which I thought was too much for just one night. I only slept there for about 6 hours. I wasn’t able to shower in the morning because of the shared bathroom situation. There were two other guests using the bathroom in the morning and I had to check out by 10am.”

“Hi Chicago was a great hostel exceeding my expectations! It was very clean, comfortable and had a big hangout area and kitchen. Every bed had their own lamp and socket and the shower and toilet was always clean. Getting free breakfast was a huge bonus! Loved my stay and would recommend it to anyone”

“The room was spacious, beds were comfortable and mini fridge came in handy. I didn't like the frosted sliding glass door for the bathroom. The shower pressure acted up every shower, not a huge deal. The staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was sufficient, more options would of been nice. Over nice stay for a weekend volleyball tournament at the Wintrust Sports Complex.”

The wall panels were broken and partially detached, exposing filthy insulation and dust buildup. It’s clear that this isn’t a recent issue — the mold and damage indicate long-term neglect and serious hygiene concerns. The air quality was poor, and the room didn’t feel safe to stay in. “The hotel is nicely located in Chicago, within walking distance of some very cool areas. However, the hotel itself feels quite old and not very clean. You can clearly see dust, stains, and even some old hairs in the room. The carpet is unattractive, and the bathroom has mold in several places. There was also a lot of dust or greasy buildup around the electrical outlets. If you stay on the 8th floor, as we did, you may have to wait a long time for the elevator.
