âWe stayed at The Barfield for the first time this past Sunday night to break up our drive from Dallas to Angel Fire, NM and really enjoyed the comfort and style of this beautiful hotel. All of the staff we encountered were wonderful and the room is very modern and comfortable. We enjoyed it so much that we are considering staying there on our way back.â

âThe room was super clean and well appointed. My only negatives were that the bed was uncomfortably firm and there needed to be a TV channel list. The TV remote would not change volume and would not pull up a channel guide, so it was impossible to find anything.â
âI drove from Houston Texas to Amarillo Texas and needed a comfortable night stay in a relaxing hotel. This hotel met all of my qualifications and needs. About my biggest gripe with the place was that their ice machines were not working right. All things considered this place was wonderful. If you ever need a place to stay in Amarillo Texas the Westerner is the best place to go.â
