“I called reception before we arrived and she suggested us to go to another hotel and just tell me the code of picking up the room key in my hotel… which I think should be avoided. Suggested to text the code by message instead of asking others to go there in person. Otherwise, a great place to stay for a night.”

“I loved how peaceful this property is. There is an old church and cemetery and the mountain rise up behind the lodging. There are a few good restaurants within 10 mins. The host made a yummy breakfast.”

“Small but strategically placed property right beside Vestrahorn and the Viking Village. Room look updated, although small with not much room to move around the beds, it had everything needed for a comfortable and quiet stay with great views. Very friendly welcome and with it right beside Vestrahorn, it was an ideal stay for getting pics at sunset and sunrise. Breakfast was standard fare but dinner options were limited to soup, a panini or grilled cheese and ham. Book early as likely to sell out...

“This is the perfect stay when visiting the diamond beach and glacier lagoon. There is an amazing langostine restaurant just 30 minutes up the road making this a convenient and affordable accommodation. The cabin was clean, comfortable, spacious and had a fully stocked kitchenette. ”

“Apotek Guesthouse is the place you must stay in Hofn! We absolutely loved our two nights there and would go back in a heartbeat. Pristine in all areas, great wifi, plenty of hot water, lovely kitchen area which guests are welcome to use, dining area, lovely coffee and hot chocolate machine, cereal and cake free breakfast - beds are sooo comfie, honestly a 10/10 stay. Across the road a lovely swimming pool with hot tubs - a great restaurant not too pricey and a lemon garage a few more steps up...
