“Nostalgic Privilege! 280 degree front views of the moana, acres of lush green yonder with hahi, urupā, te waka aa kaihao and peaceful tranquility. Pickering Cottage stay was clean, with cosy nooks, traditional cuboards and their fittings, slanted walls, drift wood curtain rods and door handles. Traditional side draws and dining furnisher, no wall paper present with my favourite being the wide KAURI floors. WOW!! Enjoyed the huge washing utility room that housed everything from washing...

“The cottage is spacious and very well equipped. There is a full kitchen and a washing machine.We were 2 adults and 2 children, one of the kids slept on a matress on the floor in the living room but it was perfect for what we needed.Doug was very responsive when we needed anything. The only slight down side is that it wasn't very private when using the outdoor area. ”

“We stayed here to explore Karikari peninsula and all the beautiful beaches. Ninety mile beach, Houhora and surroundings. Perfect. And at the end of the day enjoy a nice fish and chips on the beach all within easy walking distance.”

“Nestling in an orange orchard, DoLittle Cottage is a superb place for a relaxing break. Claes is a great host and you are made to feel very welcome upon arrival (including oranges in the fruit bowl). The accommodation is clean and very well appointed with all of the essential amenities. This is a gem in the Kerikeri area and I would highly recommend this accommodation to any solo traveller or couple. DoLittle Cottage should not be missed.”

“We found the cottage to be well appointed, warm and welcoming. It is close to the Te Araroa trail and we were able to enjoy a drink by the river at the end of our section walk, then wander back to the cottage for dinner and a good sleep!”

“It was just perfect! Quiet and relaxing. Loved feeding Ares the horse. Close to both eastern and western beaches. Didn't realise their house was so close but you wouldn't have known it was there. Jason was so helpful and patient and quick to respond - so great having all the instructions to anything and everything in one drawer!!! That's a first. And thank you so much for the bamboo stick!!!”
