“We had a phenomenal time at Alan’s mountain home. We skied 2 days, we easily walked to the lift and came home for lunch and went back out. It is so nice to not have to get in your car with the gear. The house is huge and had everything we needed. We had 3 families with young children and we all slept well, felt safe and made amazing family memories. “Bear's Retreat was the perfect getaway spot to explore the Raystown Lake area and spend quality time with family and friends in absolutely stunning surroundings. The house itself was definitely spacious enough for a large group and was enjoyed by all, from blowing bubbles on the deck with a 5 yr-old after a day swimming with fish at Tatman's Run Beach to a 62 yr-old hustling everyone else at pool in the rec room. “The property is a vacation in and of itself. It’s situated in the mountains with beautiful views. Spacious interior with lots of bedrooms and very large kitchen and outdoor cooking area. We enjoyed the proximity to the lake and spent a beautiful day on a pontoon boat. The host provides clear instruction on getting to the house and check out was a breeze. We highly recommend this place and made memories we will cherish. ”
