  • Welcome to Beach House, a classic oceanfront retreat in the sought-after south Surf City area, where comfort meets convenience. With oceanfront bedrooms, multiple decks for sunrise and sunset views, and direct access to the sand, this home is designed for a relaxing escape with family, friends, and even your four-legged companion.

    Step inside to a warm and welcoming interior filled with natural light, hardwood floors, and traditional coastal décor. The open layout makes it easy to stay connected while cooking, dining, or enjoying game night in the living area. Every bedroom faces the ocean, so no one misses out on the views, and each room includes a flat-screen TV. For cozy evenings, the living room and master suite are equipped with Amazon Fire for streaming, while the master also includes a DVD player.

    The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, including a dishwasher, with bar seating for two and a dining area overlooking the water. From here, step out to the oceanside deck to sip your morning coffee, share a meal at the picnic table, or simply relax to the sound of the waves.

    The main-level bedroom offers a full bed with easy access to a shared bath. Upstairs, the queen bedroom opens directly onto a private sundeck with sweeping island views, while the third bedroom includes a pyramid bunk and extra storage space. A rollaway twin adds flexible sleeping arrangements, and the upstairs hall bath is conveniently located for both rooms. Don’t miss the front balcony at sunset—it’s one of the best spots in the house.

    Outdoors, you’ll find parking for up to six vehicles, laundry facilities, and a private shower for rinsing off after the beach. Whether you’re lounging on the deck, strolling along the shore, or exploring the shops, restaurants, and pier just minutes away, Beach House offers everything you need for a memorable Topsail Island getaway.

You can find MUCH better.

My family and I were not happy with our stay. The place is good for maybe four people or two adults and young children. There was not enough room for us to comfortably sit in the living area together (6 adults as the two very young children were sleeping), my son-in-law had to sleep on an air matress because the beds were so small. I will say, the location and balcony are perfect. The outside shower head did not work. The cost for what you get is unacceptable. It is not updated at all. It says a washer and dryer are provided... they are OUTSIDE not in-unit, this should have been made aware. Also, when arriving we had to wait 20 minutes in the car after check-in time due to the cleaners still being there. We rented the linens for an extra $200 and there were clumps of hair in the sheets and towels. There were light fixtures missing bulbs and the appliances are very outdated, the fridge did not get cold for hours after putting groceries in. The dishes we went to use were not clean nor were there enough for us to all eat at the same time. The closets (in the rooms that had them) were unusable because of the mildew smell. Unfortunately, we were all very upset with this house and would not recommended it.

For the week long price with the conditions of the house were very poor and disappointing. None of the TV’s worked, once the batteries were changed in the remote in the main room we had maybe 10 channels. The other two were fire stick only, with the sound bar broken and did not work, and no signal. Had to repair the hose to the so called shower out side, shower did not work handle was broken. Only a busted hose pipe. The floors were so dirty and the carpet on the stairs were filthy. Insulation was falling down underneath the house. The driveway was so thick of sand I could only pull in using 4 wheel drive. The kitchen trash can was discussing and covered with trash stuck to the lid and an inch or so of grease in the bottom of the can and smelled terrible, had to take it outside. Very little cooking utensils made it difficult to cook a meal. The bidet in upstairs bathroom was a joke and there should not be a bidet in a rental, period. When you would sit down on the toilet seat the motor of the bidet would crank up, most unsanitary. The shower head in the same bath kept falling off the wall. The upper bunk was just wooden slats and very uncomfortable, actually could not sleep on it. The price tag did not fit the accommodations. We go every year to Surf City for vacation and were so displeased with The Beach House.

The rooms were as advertised. The living room is small. We had 6 people and it was tight. It’s doable but tight. Our biggest complaint was the place simply wasn’t cleaned before our arrival. My wife left it much better than we found it. It’s a great location. Check in was easy. It could use some landscaping. It just felt unkept. Ocean view. Nice chairs outside under the covered porch. I would say this is better suited for 4-5 people.
