Relaxing get away

Spacious house that sets back form the business of beach goers. Loved the spacious screened in porch. It was a great place to ease into the day or relax before dinner.

Simple peaceful stay on a property that can’t be beat. Our young boys spent hours fishing on the private dock in the backyard. The beach was an easy straight walk up the driveway and over the dunes. Best of both worlds- beachfront and sound side. The home was older, but charming with a simple but nicely appointed kitchen. Not a new modern home, but has the vibe of a beloved family vacation home

Had a great time

Our only issues were lack of an opening on the deck to get into the boat and there’s apartment under the main house. There was also a moldy smell in the house so we kept the windows open. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Nice sound/beach retreat

We enjoyed our stay at Reel Blessed. The family enjoyed the dock for fishing and the sound to paddle around and watch the boats go out and come back in. The beach access is a long driveway walk just across the main road. There are several steps to go up the walkway and back down but the beach was very enjoyable and not crowded at all during our stay. The owners were very considerate to leave tp, hand soap, dish soap, and paper towels.

2022 Christmas at the Beach

Reel Blessed property was just what we needed. We have extended family in Wilmington and Topsail Beach area so this home was perfect for us. The property is amazing ! Such a wonderful Christmas Vacation. The sunset views are amazing on the deck and the ocean is just steps away directly across the street The house is cozy with wonderful views of the sound and has everything you need. Nice get away on the sound with beach access

This was the easiest VRBO I've done. The property manager/owner contacted me in advance. We texted at the beginning and end of my stay. Everyone loved fishing from the dock and catching lots of rays. The house fit our needs perfectly. The pictures do not lie. It is in a private setting and has easy beach access across the main road.

Could be Better

The property location is what we were looking for. The property needs some updating and we had an electrical issue that needs to be permanently corrected. The owner of the property was doing everything she could do to get the problem rectified, but it will take additional work to rectify the issue so that there could not be issues in the future. She was in constant contact with us , but the situation could not be completed during our stay. For the most part, the property was clean but the window sills were very dirty. The appliances were relatively new. The steps to the home were hard to navigate and we had to be very cautious.

We always love staying here.

We have stayed here plenty of times to know it’s one our favorites . When we have stayed other places I get a little sad that we are not at “Reel Blessed “ and I feel blessed to be able to visit for just a week. Until next time be blessed.
