Well Appointed Home

We really enjoyed this property. Furnishings and decor were very nice. Kitchen had a great layout and had everything you need. As mentioned by other reviewers, stairs are an issue, but our group of 6 seniors did not have any problems. The proximity to the beach and the views were exceptional.

Sibs Week

We had a great week. A couple things that should be addressed is the instructions for garbage it is very confusing. Luckily someone put it out and we put the cans back. The fan in the living room we could not get to turn on even though the remote showed power. Beautiful place and the appliances were amazing. Being right on the ocean was a plus. We used the deck a lot. Only downful for us was the stairs. We are all over 65 and it was a bit much. Not a negative on the property though just a fact for us old people. 😉

Wonderful stay!

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The home was beautiful and plenty big for our party of 7. The view was spectacular and the distance to the beach was unbeatable… just a few steps away! The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. If we ever make our way back to Surf City, we will definitely rent this property again.

Great place, great times!

This was a great place. The property was clean and the decor was lovely. The location was perfect. We enjoyed the decks with the beautiful views and sounds of the oceans. The location was very convenient to shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again as long as we are able to do the 35 steps in the house to the top floor where the living area is located. The steps are well worth the view.

Family Vacation

We had an amazing vacation - 5 senior citizens. The home was better than we imagined. Beautifully decorated, clean, well stocked kitchen and the most beautiful sun rises and sunsets from front deck. I would highly recommend this property.

Loved it!

We loved this condo so much. We booked it originally during COVID, not knowing what to expect as we had never vacationed in NC before. So glad we did. The condo was super clean and cute, decorated to a T! The appliances were all new and high-tech which gave it an extra touch of pizazz. The weather was fantastic and waking up for sunrise strolls every morning was the best part. Also the fact that every room had it's own balcony was fantastic. 10/10 would rent again.

Spring Break

Place was beautiful, clean, and superb views of ocean. Can't get any closer. Weather was still a bit chilly but top balcony was nice and warm. We were still able to lay out and get some sun. Probably 10 to 15 degrees warmer than by the water. Kitchen had everything we needed to stay right at home during Covid. Even able to make a Easter dinner for our son and a couple of his fellow Marines who are stationed at New River. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely

This is a lovely home with beautiful decor and wonderful beach views. We were all very comfortable in our rooms. We did think the deck needs some attention/replacement, but overall we were very comfortable in this home and happy with our decision to stay here.

Salt water waves

My husband and I work hard all year and due to different factors haven't gotten to take a true vaca in a few years (and by true vaca I mean no schedule, no crazy and sleeping in until we want) We decided this year it's beach time! Fabulous view from our deck, the house was clean and very nice! Decorated beautifully. One if the best parts for me was the bed and pillows were actually very comfy! Had a fabulous time doing nothing! Would definitely stay here again!!

Pros and Cons- “On the Fence”

PROS - Location!!! Steps to Beach. 1st and 3rd floors beautifully decorated. Fully equipped Kitchen. Refrigerator has TV and speakers. A lot of games and books. Beds were comfortable. Home very spacious. Loved the area. CONS!! - Dangerously loose balcony with rotted wood on front left side. Rusty nails popping out of deck. Guest stepped on one. I had to clean the place and wash comforters and dust ruffles upon arrival. Bedding had stains. Ruffles had crusted substance and some other unidentifiable liquid. 1 master had vomit splattered behind toilet and on wall. Hair and mildew in 2 showers. 1 master had severe mildew. It was not permanent because I got it clean. Sand on many floors. Door knobs were dirty as was paint around them. I cleaned. Wall art was thick with dust. Roach trap behind other Master toilet. Appeared old and dusty. All sliding patio door windows were full of sand. Could not see out of. Hurricane prior week but no one cleaned. I cleaned myself. Roach (Water Bug) INFESTATION on both decks. Throughout the week we killed multiple within the house. 1 we could not catch. Realtor said it was normal for Beachfront Homes. They said they were not roaches. They were indeed. Main entry door did not lock. Could push door open. Sally port lights out. Could not see to enter at night. Dryer did not get hot. Severely moldy outdoor pillow on lounger. 2nd floor bedroom areas dated. Drain was clogged in hallway main Bath on 2nd floor. My Husband had to unclog multiple times. Front of bathroom cabinets, ledges dirty. Bathroom throw rugs were dirty. I washed. All things were reported to Management throughout week. Realtor was very responsive however she wanted to send housekeeper back to clean with my family there. Due to Covid we declined, plus I had already cleaned much of it myself. I wasted 1 full day of my vacation cleaning and washing. They sent Dryer repair person. He broke closet door upon leaving by accident. I reported. I also reported Roaches. They sent person to spray and try to fix hazardous deck railing. Roaches reappeared 2 days later. He said we had to avoid the left side of deck because he could not fix it good enough, he said the whole thing needs to be replaced. 2 days into our vacation we couldn’t use the best amenity there, the deck with an amazing view. Overall ok stay due to location and the beauty of several areas of the Home. Needs some TLC and a better cleaning service!!

Hidden Gem on the beautiful NC coast

We were incredibly pleased with our stay at this property. We did have a couple of small issues during our stay, and the property owners were responsive and helpful. The place is even more beautiful than the pictures imply, with two balconies that overlook the gorgeous beach. We would gladly stay in this same property again.

Lovely condo with great ocean view and easy beach accessiblity!

We enjoyed our stay at this condominium complex! The ocean view was beautiful and the very short walk to the beach was perfect. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the bathrooms were large, beautifully tiled and well maintained. Each bedroom was furnished well with plenty of storage. The only complaint about this lovely condo were the two queen beds on the second floor. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and definitely need to be replaced. If not for that, we would have given this 5 stars.
