We have visited AMI for 17 years and this rental met or surpassed all our needs. The home was very clean, spacious, well stocked and two hundred yards from the beach. Staying at a ranch house, with no steps, for us seniors was awesome.

Amazing Find - Family Friendly - STEPS away from the Beach

Our stay at this vacation home was incredible! After our original rental was damaged by a hurricane, we needed a replacement—and this home exceeded all expectations.Our group of eight (two families with kids 8 months to 5 years old) loved the pool, which had the perfect balance of sun and shade. The partially covered hot tub/pool was great for rainy days. The backyard’s grassy/turf area made it feel cozy and kid-friendly.Inside, the home was spacious, with large bedrooms and bathrooms. A door separated the living area, helping with noise when our little one woke early. The pool door alarm was a great safety feature.The location is unbeatable—just steps from the beach! You do have to cross a quiet street, but drivers were very pedestrian-friendly. It was so close we didn’t even need to pack lunches, just walked back when needed. The free trolley stop is right next to the house, making it easy to explore.The house came with a beach wagon and chairs, which were lifesavers with four kids. While no baby gear was provided, Fun and More Rentals made renting easy. The covered patio with a dining table and grill was perfect for outdoor meals, and we loved how well-stocked the kitchen was for cooking at home.The only downside was spotty WiFi, though management was responsive. Overall, this home was a fantastic find, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful home and location

The house is wonderful and the location is fantastic! We had a couple of questions and Cheri and maintenance (Ryan, I think) could not have been more responsive. The covered hot tub is particularly wonderful; at one point we were there in the rain, which felt really special. You will not be disappointed if you rent this property!

Great place to stay

First of all it was not a bit and switch! You get what see in the photos. Place is super clean and renovated. Super close to the beach. Literally 2 minutes walking! The reasons I gave 4 stars: You don’t have much control over AC Someone just walked in to cleaning the the pool while we were swimming without knocking or any prior notice The shower head didn’t work in one of the bathrooms and it took 3 days to fix it. Overall I was so happy with the house what I liked: House was clean and sanitized. They had everything you need and one of the few house with dining table and sitting area for 8 when they advertise sleeps 8! Close to beach

Senior Trip

We enjoyed our Anna Maria trip. Only 150 yds from the beach 💙💙 The house was in a great location and very well equipped with everything we needed. Our girls and their friends loved the pool and spa !!!!!!! Loved the one level living space ❤️❤️

Great house location

Great house for a beach stay. The property is only one block from the sand, which made it perfect for our beach trip. The property also had a beach buggy, which made it a snap to transport our umbrellas to the beach and back. The shady pool was absolutely key—what a benefit. The AC wasn’t overly strong, but we got used to that and kept the bedrooms plenty cool. The beds were comfortable—not soft enough for me, but I like ridiculously soft beds. My husband said the bed was perfect. Overall, fantastic property. This was a huge find. We expect to be back.

Great location

This was a great location and overall great vacation home. It was clean and perfect for our families. There were a few minor things like more bath towels and having the pool cleaned throughout our stay. We were there for 7 nights and not a single time the pool was cleaned. It thunder-stormed a couple nights so palm debris was in the pool. The owner of the house came by out of the blue. It would have been nice if we got a notification ahead of time. The grill needs repairs also. Good communication with the management company. We arrived early and when we asked to get in early and pay for it, we were denied. We had kids 3-17 with us. The cleaning and maintenance people had already been there and told us they were done. But management wouldn’t let us in. So we sat in the rain until our designated time. I mean we knew we would be earlier but it would have been helpful if they were kind enough to let us get the kids out of the rain. Overall we would definitely stay again and plan our timing better or reserve a day ahead of time.

The house is really nice even nicer than in the pictures. The kitchen as well as the whole house is very well equipped with everything we needed. We really had a great stay in this house and used the pool and hot tub a lot. it was our fourth stay on the island and we will gladly return to this house. The location of this house is very good very close to the beach!

Spring Break

We took our Senior son on Spring Break and really enjoyed this property. Perfect location for easy beach access and house was set up nicely with open floor plan and a nice hot tub and pool. Highly recommended

Great location

This home was nice. Great location to the beach. I suggest renting a golf cart and bikes for the week. Only complaint is we had only one towel per person, so we had to do laundry everyday.

201 69th Holmes Beach

Anna Marie island is absolutely beautiful. This property however had a few things I was disappointed in. The internet was unreliable. I needed to connect to my office a couple of times throughout my stay and the internet was out. I contacted the property manager only to be told she needed to contact the owner. They did eventually after multiple requests restore the internet by stopping by to reboot at least 4 different times. It definitely was inconvenient and I would not recommend if you need to work remotely. The spa only works between the time of 1pm and 10pm each day. Which is helpful information that we found out 2 days after we arrived and couldn't get it working. The property is a stones throw to the beach which again is beautiful. It is also a single level home which I needed for my elderly parents that did travel with me, so I loved that. The kitchen is nice and big and we loved cooking and enjoying meals together.

Florida Girls 2022

From start to finish was a complete pleasure. We had to book in a short period of time bcuz our first home was destroyed by Hurricane Ian down on Fort Myers Beach. All went smoothly until Hurricane Nicole showed up, but we made the most of it. This house is wonderful and accommodated 8 ladies just perfectly. If I had one complaint, it would be that we needed more bath towels. But we made great use of the super nice washer and dryer! Would definitely recommend and we hope to go back soon!!

Perfect for our group

We stayed here for my husbands’ 40th birthday weekend with friends. The layout is perfect for a group and we enjoyed the spa more than expected! We swam, played chess and enjoyed the beautiful weather in the evenings watching football outside. Great location, a short walk to the beach. Beds were large and comfortable - great spot!

It is an outstanding property that was one block from the beach. Everything was in working order and was either new or very well maintained. The house and furnishings were nicer than advertised. We will certainly stay there again in the future!

Awesome weekend!

awesome location!!! excellent service!!!! we would definitely rent again. A/C could be set to a cooler setting, especially during summer days. Jacuzzi was not working, not a problem for us.

Horrible host - nice location

We have stayed in several Vrbo houses and have always had very responsive hosts and great experiences. This was not one of those times. The house is nice, and the location is great, but the host was horrible!! The spa advertised in the listing doesn’t work. We contacted the host and they indicated that it was broken, and it would be fixed as soon as possible which never happen. We were never told it was broken or that it wouldn’t be fixed. We were not even offered an apology. The host just texted back saying "it will be fixed when we get the part" The house needs to be fumigated as there are ants everywhere. We live in Florida so we know not to leave anything out but even with us leaving all food in the refrigerator at all times, there were ants everywhere. Besides the ants and spa issue, we were ok until the last day when the host had people install solar panels on the roof. We had no notice or heads up that they were coming and were awakened before 8 am with laborers working on the roof. The work was not only loud but also dangerous as they were carrying heavy equipment through the backyard (where our little kids were playing) and the front door. We had to go under a ladder in the front door to get our luggage to our cars. The host never told us there was going to be any work on the property and when we reach out to her, she said she had forgotten they were coming and told us to have a late checkout which we declined as the situation was not safe. Again, no apologies for the inconvenience.

Vacation 2022

The house was very nice. We had a problem with ants. The management sent someone right away to spray. The ants were gone for one day then we’re back. Also, hot tub never worked. Service man ordered part but not there before we left. Other than these issues, we had a great time. Perfect location to beach and pool was clean and refreshing.

Location is only redeeming quality

If the owners and property manager had handled our issues better, this would be a four star review. But we rented this home because it had a hot tub and one of our guests could soak her arthritic hip. However, the hot tub didn’t work. While the property manager responded pretty quickly, she then proceeded to lie about the entire situation. First we were told we were having our rate adjusted for the inconvenience. Then she claimed it was just the hot tub timer. However, the tub never worked. Secondly, the air conditioning is terrible. It was almost 100 degrees our entire stay and the owners have the a/c locked remotely so you can’t lower it. The main living room was the worst for a/c so it was way too hot to hang there. The one night we cooked, the house heated up 10 more degrees. The property manager said “check the vents.” That’s another excuse. The vents could only be reached with a ladder. The beds! They put so much money into renovating the home, they put straw mattresses on the beds. These mattresses should have been destroyed over 50 years ago. How do you have a beautiful home with such terrible beds. Between the heat and the beds, not one person in our group slept through the night! Then, after check out, during my follow up with the property manager, she lied again and said she never said she was adjusting our rate. She said she was not communicating with me because I booked the home through VRBO. So, here is their review.
