“This was a great place to stay! We were here for 6 nights and had a really amazing stay. There was onsite parking (which is huge), and it was very easy to find a parking spot. The location is in the middle of all of the Kona buzz, which made it easy for us to walk around when we stayed in town. The Farmer’s Market was less than a 5 minute walk, and Safeway, Walmart, and Target were all quite easy to get to. The owners were very communicative and helped us find the location (Google Maps wasn’t...

“The place is right in the middle of the downtown and steps away from great food spots and the water! The studio was cute and clean. Owners provided snorkeling equipment and beach chairs and cooler - made snorkeling and beach trips very comfortable! The owner was very accommodative and overall had a great experience :)”

“Positive: enjoyed the beautiful view of the ocean, property, proximity to shops, walkability, pool and hot tub, beds pretty comfortable. Room ok for a place to crash after a day of enjoying Hawaii vibes. Criticism: initial communication fine, happy to secure our booking but communication after that was very poor. Attempted to add a night, was willing to change rooms due to availability issues but she just never followed up after multiple attempts so I had to go to another host down...

“We enjoyed our stay at Casa de Emdeko. The saltwater pool and outdoor spaces were spectacular. Good views of the ocean and sunset, including bowing the pū (Hawaiian conch shell) at sunset. The unit provided a great home base to explore Kona and the island. There were some areas of the unit that needed repair/maintenance, but they didn't severely impact our trip. The host was highly responsive and helpful ”

“Charlie was a great host! Our check in was a smooth process with very clear instructions and the location is unbeatable! Loved the ocean front views enjoying the sounds of the waves. Everything you could need was available to include beach necessities. I asked Charlie some questions and received very prompt and friendly responses. My family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again!”
