“OMG! Magnificent views! This house is private and quiet with panoramic views that don’t even look real. It’s a clean, comfortable little retreat only a few min drive to the Spit. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the water, mountains, sunsets and soaring eagles everyday. Make sure you visit the Kachemak oyster bar, Boatyard Cafe and Salty Dawg Saloon while in Homer. We are already looking forward to returning soon!”

“We were very disappointed, as it did not match the pictures. Property was unkempt and overgrown with weeds. The outhouse had cobwebs and was not very clean. The cottage was a bit rundown, and poorly supplied. There were no paper towels or tissues, and only 2 little kitchen towels and 1 washcloth, so it was difficult to maintain any decent hygiene, or even wash the dishes. If you are considering this place, bring towels and all your own supplies. ”
