"Wattleseed" @ Yea Springs - affordable luxury right by the Railtrail

Wattleseeed @ Yea Springs is set on 4 tranquil acres just 5 minutes drive from the Yea town centre. The quiet and peaceful setting with no neighbouring properties boasts direct access to the Great Victorian Rail Trail and wonderful rural views of the Goulburn River Valley & Strathbogie Ranges.

The property has two modern and spacious 2-bedroom holiday homes – known as Wattleseed & Ironbark – that are brand new and provide exceptionally comfortable accommodation for up to 4 persons each.

This listing is for the Wattleseed home. The Ironbark home (which is the same size & layout) is on a separate listing.

Perfectly suitable for one or two couples, the home is set well back from the road and is ideally positioned for cyclists wanting to ride Australia’s longest rail trail, which runs from Tallarook all the way to Mansfield!

The Wattleseed residence features:

* Two well-appointed bedrooms one with a Queen size bed, the other with two King single beds. The bedrooms have fully fitted wardrobes, ceiling fans and quality linen & bedding.

* Fully equipped modern kitchen with oven, hotplates, fridge, half-drawer dishwasher, rangehood, microwave, pantry and quality cooking equipment.

* Very spacious lounge/dining area.

* Sattelite TV.
* Split system, highly effective air-conditioning for heating & cooling.

* Outdoor undercover timber deck.

* Cleverly designed bathroom area with separate WC.

* Lock-up storage for bicycles

Hidden Gem

Fantastic Property, set in a rural location surrounded by trees and just 2 other cottages. So much space to spread out in a well set out modern 2 bedroom cottage. This property is so much better than staying in a motel and great for a couple, two couples or 3 individuals like we were. Great base for the Great Victorian Rail Trail that is what we were there for.

This accomodation is ideal for riding the rail trail, the place feels new, clean and is tastefully decorated. The town is close but be sure to check what days things are open.

Lovely, comfortable accommodation and surrounds.

It is smart and clean accommodation with everything you need. Easy trip to Yea and the walk up to their private hill was divine. Especially with bubbles and sunset. Lots of birds and nature. Great communication with the owners also. Thanks for the stay. :)

Beautiful location, short distance from Yea, has everything that you need. Ray the host is very thoughtful and accommodating. He was kind enough to have the heater on for us when we arrived. We love the place so much this was our third visit thanks Ray for another lovely weekend

Comfortable Country Accommodation

Very comfortable and had everything we needed, including for cooking meals. Great view over the Goulburn river valley. Convenient for walks in Tallarook State Forest, along Murrindindi river and around Yea wetlands.

Well worth staying.

We found the hosts to be very helpful and the check in process to be very easy. They were happy to accommodate us, with an extended check out offered. The property was very clean and comfortable with all the necessities supplied. It is in a very handy location for those wanting to ride or walk the rail trail. We enjoyed a visit to Yea wetlands and set of on a bit of a challenging trek to see the Murrindindi Cascades within a short drive of the property. We would recommend the property to anyone wanting a lovely country stay.

Wattleseed Stay

Wattleseed was spacious and very comfortable. It is very tastefully decorated, and has all the amenities you would need for a short or long stay. It is only a few minutes drive up the highway from Yea, and a good base to visit other towns in the region.

My partner and I enjoyed our recent stay at Yea Springs. Property is exactly as presented on Stayz. Is right on rail trail and perfectly situated to explore the region. Ray and Leanne were great hosts. We would have no hesitation recommending Yea Springs as a perfect place to base yourself.
