Gårdshotell i Honesdale

“Staff was good. Things need maintenance in the room. The driveway is in bad shape.”

“Booking through Expedia, we were given a room at the end of the hallway where the laundry was piled up, felt like an extra room squeezed in.. very small. There was no thermostat and the space heater was cold upon arrival. The bed and the tiny bathroom / shower stall were clean. Hot water was available in the morning but not at night. The inadequacies of booking through Expedia used to be a running joke but tolerable. It's getting a little out of hand.”

“The staff was great and super helpful!”

“Great space with lots of little touches like cotton sheets, plenty of towels, dimmable lights and comfy seating.”

“My family and I had a lovely experience; the place is clean and cozy.”

“I booked this property for a short getaway with some fiends and was very disappointed. The house and property have been very neglected and allowed to fall into a state of disrepair. I hadn't even made it inside before noticing my first issue, the deck has a soft spot with a rug on it, when I investigated further, I noticed the joist hangers were all rusted out along the door making the deck very spongey and unsafe. Furthermore, the property was dirty inside. The counters and dishes were greasy,...

“The apartment was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and a great quiet location downtown. Parking passes were provided, so you didn’t have to pay on street parking. The host was very nice and quick to respond to questions/concerns. They were very clear about the flight of stairs, but they didn’t concern us. However, older guests might find them difficult, especially carrying luggage. We would definitely book this property again.”

“The house was very clean and the host was very quick to respond to any questions. We enjoyed our stay there.”

“Excellent property. Great location. Clean room. Friendly stuff. Homey feel.”

“The inn is very charming on the outside and the grounds were very pretty in the fall. The inside is starting to look a bit run down. Our room was very small and also in need of a refresh. I expect more from a room when I’m paying $450 a night. The food was just ok. The decorations for Halloween, specifically the carved pumpkins were impressive. Overall I was a bit disappointed and I think it is way overpriced for what you are getting.”

“Wonderful property and very nice owners. Located within easy driving distance for dining, hiking and other activities. Breakfast was great. On our final day we needed to leave early and were given to go breakfast. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend. Attention to detail was excellent.”

“Quaint, quiet, clean room, beautiful view, and friendly staff. Restaurant food was great.”

“Room clean, staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast could have a little more variety.”
