Maui

The view was lovely. The online photos were not representative of our unit - the furniture was different & the unit was much smaller than it looked in the photos. The surrounding area looked a bit sketchy, but we had no problems. The pool & BBQ area was nice & we enjoyed sitting on the lanai very much.We appreciated the pool/diving gear & beach chairs. Will probably go back to a hotel next time for maid service/fresh towels. The property met our needs and the sunset view was stunning.

EXCELLENT VIEWS!

The unit met all of our needs, it’s small, but it works great for two! The breeze and fans kept the unit very comfortable. The screen door is a little hard to close but well worth it for the fantastic view from the lanai, it is absolutely fantastic, all the time!

Perfect for our short stay

The property was really well decorated and cute. The view was absolutely amazing and made the fact that there is no hot tub or access to the beach still worth it. I wouldn’t want to stay much longer without those amenities, but the price is very reasonable for Hawaii for oceanfront!! Definitely recommend.

It is all about location!

This was our second time at this property, first time in this unit. Older property, but very well maintained and clean. We love being on the water. Ocean sounds and beautiful sunsets. Because this is a smaller property, the common areas have very few people using them. Nice pool, great elevated deck for getting some son or watching the turtles. We would stay again, because the bottom line is location, location, location. The pots and pans, cookware are worn out, and at least twenty years old, maybe more. NEEDS to be replaced. New toaster, but need an upgrade in the coffee area, like something using the K cups. And here is a cheap quick fix, stick a couple of hooks on the back of the bathroom door for hanging cloths up..This is a small thing, but the full bottle of dish soap was watered down to look full. So update the dishes in the kitchen. Especially the pots and pans.

Here for business - just far enough out from crazy Lahaina & Kaanapali - short walk to beach, turtles out front - my 5th time here - different condo each time - all have been great.

Great place bad bed

The condo was almost perfect. The only problem was the bed. The mattress and/or box springs needs to be replaced badly. It was too soft (no support) and it squeaks loudly every time one moved. I can’t imagine what the people downstairs would hear.

Wonderful Stay in Maui

The condo was nice. The view was great. We went in February and were able to watch the whales every day from our balcony and we were able to watch the sunset from the balcony each evening as well. Inside of the condo was nice enough. There was no A/C (as is the case with many condos in Maui), but there was enough of a breeze that we were able to sleep well. The bed was comfortable, but a little slanty on one side. There was also no dresser available for use. Less than half the closet is available for tenant use and there is an armoire, but in the armoire are extra pillows and linens. And while that's nice, there wasn't much room to put our clothes. Living out of suitcases for two weeks wasn't ideal but we made it work. Also, we didn't walk around with our shoes off because the floors were a little sticky (the way many hotel floors are). The kitchen had much of what we needed during our stay from a limited number of spices, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, tupperware, plastic wrap, extra paper towels, etc. We had a bit of an ant problem in the kitchen but we were able to figure out where they were coming from a block it off a bit while we were there. The location of this property is perfect. It was about 1/4 mile from Honokowai Beach Park (good for families with small children with some shallows that are almost completely protected by a reef) and about 3/4 of a mile to Pohaku Beach Park (good for surfing but with calm shallows). The neighborhood is much quieter than further south near all the resorts but close enough that all of those activities were convenient. Overall, our stay was great and we definitely recommend this condo. The property managers made everything super easy from check in to check out. Frequent emails made it so you never had to ask questions.

Falling asleep to the sound of the waves

We loved staying at this condo! It was wonderful to be able to see and hear the waves from anywhere in the condo. It was great to have a cooler, beach chairs, and beach umbrella. We left a boogie board for whoever comes next.

Cockroach infestation

The kitchen was infested with cockroaches and other bugs. Vacasa provided another property for 2 nights and had told us the issue had been cleaned up, but there were still numerous bugs. I purchased a can of Raid and exterminated most of the cockroaches, but my spouse would still not go in the kitchen area.

Wonderful condo in a great location.

We loved this unit and complex. The unit itself is well appointed with all you need for a great stay - comfortable bed, plenty of towels, and beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers to make your beach days comfortable and stress free. The location was perfect for us - shopping/groceries within a short walk (the fish market has great poke and the Honokowai Deli had amazing food for takeout). The condo had a nice pool, great BBQ area, and deck seating for fabulous sunset views (where we ate dinner a number of evenings). Although there was some construction happening at the condo complex next door, we were out most days and the noise generally subsided by late afternoon. We would definitely stay here again if back on Maui.

The condo was water facing and we could see whales from the balcony. It was well furnished and stocked. All that one needed for a 3-4 day was thought of and provided. When we had a question and called Vacasa, they were extremely prompt, responsive and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay.
