Comfortable in cooler weather

AC was misleading, none in the second bedroom at all and a governor controlled it. The unit on the lanai caused the area to get so hot in the afternoon and evening we could not sit out nor eat there. We could use it in the mornings when the outdoor temp was the coolest. No hot water in the master bath shower. Three of us used it at different times during the day and all had warm showers only. No oven except the microwave/oven combo above the cook top stove. it took double the time to bake puff pastry, so we had to completely replan our meals. No recycle bin in condo, tiny kitchen trash can for a condo to accommodate a larger family or group.Broom was appreciated to sweep any sand tracked it, but no dust pan makes to tough to use.The master bash shower had built up dirt on the outside of the shower doors which were completely covered in mineral deposits.The master bedroom had an issue where something had left residue on the tile, perhaps a piece of furniture. The lanai was way too small for the size of table on it.I do have pics of the shower and floor.The resort is a well maintained beautiful property that we may try one more time, the staff was very helpful and engaging.

Maui Paradise vacation

This property worked well for us as a family of 5 with three teens. It is our first time staying here as we have stayed at other close properties in Honokwai in the past. Enjoyed the stay here as it was a quiet and relaxing location. You can still go and eat and find amenities at the hotel next door. The pool was great and our ocean view was lovely.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. I would recommend some new pillows but I would stay there again without them. There was plenty of cookware in addition to the well maintained Weber grills by the pool.

Family Vacation with Father-in-law

Beautiful property just as advertised. AC in all rooms made the condo very comfortable. Great views and just a perfect place to get away. Minor issue with nats or very small bugs. Just annoying more than a pain. They didn’t get into food nor did they bite. They didn’t scare us away or even bad enough to complain. We’d go back in heart beat.

Nice stay overall

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. What kept me from giving it a five is due to the fact the Second bedroom was very warm. They did have a floor fan (but it really didn’t help) and the ceiling fans barely worked-would have been helpful. I did notify the property manager and was told that someone would be coming to look at it, but no one ever came. The outdoor patio-could definitely use different furniture, as it just really doesn’t accommodate the amount of chairs that are out there. Also there is no “beach” - you can walk down 5-7 mins and be at a beach. Overall we did have a good time, and will come back to Maui🌺

Incredible family trip!

We rented this property for a 4 generation family trip & it was perfect! The home was set up perfectly with everything needed, comfortable, clean & tastefully decorated! The location & grounds feel safe & well maintained. The views from the living area couldn’t be beat! We cooked great dinners & enjoyed our cocktails on the patio at sunset. The property grounds were beautifully lush & well maintained. The pool area & yard games & putting green available we’re also a hit with our group! Such a great touch & fun way to spend time together. Mornings were well spent drinking coffee on the patio & taking in the views.The property is a very close drive to great shops, dining & beaches as well as grocery stores. An couple awesome coffee shops within walking distance made for a great morning start as well as ABC store for snacks & basic necessities. We truly can’t say enough great things about the property. From the friendly & helpful staff on grounds to the beautiful & comfortable home, we loved everything about this stay!

The good and bad

Resort/location-great! Grds, pools, tennis cts, beautiful. Able to walk in ocean; even snorkel. Resort next door has nice bar on water w/ good food/drink. Close to a lot! Loved Lahaina. Unit itself disappointing except appliances nice/new. Most issues easily fixed; surprised they're not for price. Only 1 bath towel pp,1 hand towel & wash cloth per bathroom. Not even 1 beach towel per person. Yes, washer/dryer, but who wants to do laundry on vaca? 3rd bdr is loft/not private like bedroom needs to be. While pictured, louder than anticipated. Was noted in prev review twin beds cld be pushed together-not the case-dresser there now. No A/C in 2nd bdr; fans didn't cool enough; stuffy/hot & NOT hot outside. Master TV didn't work. Only lites in master were in bathroom. 2 bedside lites burnt out-no overhead lite. Floors very dirty. Sign said remove shoes before entering, which we did but had to wash our feet before going to bed or putting shoes back on to go outside. Furniture was old & dirty. Needs small investment in furniture, towels, lites, tv's, cleaning, glasses; things expected in high end unit. Patio NOT as pictured-NOT able to enjoy. Table big enough for 6 but patio was not. 3 chairs at table & 4 more pushed off to side; making 2 of 3 chairs at table unusable. 3 bar stools inside meant we couldn't eat together:( Again for price, expected better basics. Not even decent glasses, cups; all mismatched. Many amenities were 'old cabin in woods' not 'high end Maui'.

Great view but property is more for seniors than families

I have done lots of vacations and unfortunately I felt like this one came up short. Not all because of the property though. The property was nice but not worth the money that you have to pay. I was surprised when we checked out that we had an additional bill for maintenance that I thought we had already paid. I was ready to go home and we needed to leave that I just left and didn't fight it. The property isn't bad but it's not really meant for families. The view was great but there was no beach because the storm that came in so obviously there is normally not much beach front. We didn't even use the pool because it was so small that we ended up going to another resort and doing day passes. If you want to watch any TV in this unit it's like watching your computer screen and there are no instructions for the 3 remotes. I tried to get info and I got a text that was not helpful at all. Just not what we thought it was going to be.
