A delightful well loved studio on Honolulu's Gold Coast nestled under Diamond Head.
A comfortable Queen bed and a separate sleeper sofa in case it's needed await in this beautiful Diamond Head Beach Hotel property. Relax in our Oceanfront gardens during the day away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki knowing that it is only a 15 min walk along the footpath through Kapiolani Park when desired.


Our breakfast nook area offers a Keurig coffee maker, microwave & minifridge freezer along with dishes cutlery.

The Smart TV means you can log into your own Netflix or Hulu account to keep up with shows as you relax at home in the evenings.

The suite has air conditioning and WiFi along with HD cable. Fresh linens and ample towels including Beach towels are placed for every arrival.

What a perfect location! Only a short 10-15 minute walk to Waikiki. No need for a car. We walked or took an Uber everywhere - much more cost efficient than a rental car especially with the cost of parking! A convenience store -Russell’s - is very close by and has everything you need for breakfast and lunch items - and much more. We highly recommend The Barefoot Beach Cafe which is very close for meals from breakfast through dinner. They have live music every night. Our favorite is the group that plays Hawaiian music every Friday evening starting at 5:30. The unit, although a bit dated, was very functional and had lots of drawer space for clothes, a comfortable sofa and a very comfortable bed. I loved sitting in the lounge chairs on the lawn every morning reading and looking out at the ocean. The host Mark was very responsive to any questions we had and Patrick at the front desk was wonderful! He is a font of knowledge about everything Hawaiian and so very kind and helpful. He even helped when we had trouble finding the right channel for the Super Bowl; he was able to get the channel for us quickly. We had a wonderful stay here and would definitely come back. We hope to!!! This place is well named and truly is a Gem of a Studio!!

Perfection

My friends and I called this place a non-hotel, hotel. Safe, secure, clean, the property was exactly as pictured. The property has a great outside communal space with tables and a grassy area that overlooks the ocean.

View and the sit out behind the building was very good. Inside the room space was limited. There was no stove or skillet to fix quick meals. To wash utensils need to use the bathroom sink which was very inconvenient and not pleasant/clean. The kitchenette area was very congested. The place was not very clean and many items were cheap like the wine glasses. The dresser was the oldest one could find (antique piece) so we did not even used it. There was a cockroach in the room so tried our best to keep all our bags closed all the time. The air conditioning was very close to the bed blowing air on the face/in the nose. There is no centralized A/C.

Wonderful Location

Nice location about a 15 minute walk away from the crazy madness of Waikiki. Nice lawn area right on the water. Tiny beach area, but stairs right down into the ocean. Great swimming spot.

Not recommend for family of 4 stay

Thought the room was nice and area was well kept but the room was not worth the price for our party of 4. Room was very cramped and some of the sheets for the pull-out bed were dirty. Wanted to also mention that the room does not include a nice view of the beach nor the city so don’t expect that. However, some pros to the room were that they were accommodating with many towels and was mostly clean. Also had no problems with neighbors or outdoor noises while being jn the room. Overall, if you are just alone or a couple looking for a room to spend the night for and don't care much for the amenities, I would recommend this room!

Beautiful location and comfortable unit

This is perfect for 1 or 2 people looking for something a bit nicer than just a hotel room. Kitchen facilities are very basic - just a microwave and a coffee machine, not even a kitchen sink, but if you are looking at having all your meals out it works. Well taken care of, safe building, away from the bustle of Waikiki but within easy walking distance. Management company is very responsive. I'd stay again.

Hidden gem

Loved this place! The room was beautiful and clean, and we loved the views from the common areas. Having a sliver of private oceanfront was amazing! This place was quiet, across the street from a huge park with plenty of parking if you opt not to park at location. The kitchenette was serviceable, there was even a blender. There was a cooler to use which we used for beach and hiking. Beds were comfortable (probably most comfortable sofa bed I’ve slept on). All in all we loved the stay! Unbelievable we were a short walk from Waikiki and also had awesome close diamond head views- all on oceanfront! Communication was prompt and hosts were helpful.

The Unit has a large ocean front lanai. The unit photos were old. The unit needs attention and updating. The window coverings are severely stained. There is a nice kitchen and plenty of space. The management were helpful and polite. This unit is all about location. You can walk to everything. There is high cost daily parking available. Plenty of nerby, 10 minute walk fee parking. I have stayed at Diamond Head Beach Resorts multiple times. The previous units were updated, appealing and comfortable.

Clean, Comfortable and Quiet…

This property is a hidden gem in Waikiki. At the far end of Waikiki beach just below Diamond Head, this room provided us with much needed peace and quiet after some long days of touring. Every evening we would take our dinner downstairs and sit on the beachfront patio and watch the amazing sunsets as the surfers and sailboats passed by. The room is clean and comfortable and the check in and out were very easy. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here!

Perfect Location and Beautiful Space

This was a wonderful find for me as a single woman traveling. It was a safe and secure building, but offer the amenities of an adventurous traveler. Swimming in the little spot of a "swimming hole" off the break wall was such a nice surprise.

Diamond Head Beach Hotel/ Gold Coast

The location of DHBH is perfect for a relaxing Hawaiian holiday. This studio unit was well equipped and tastefully decorated. There are nearby local restaurants on Monsarrat that we walked to for take out or patio dining and special dinners at the Kaimana Hotel Hau Tree restaurant. A perfect beach holiday in beautiful Hawaii.
