Very dirty no one cleans it seems like they just make it look clean had to go to Walmart and buy cleaning supplies soon as I wiped down counters rags looked black ..I would never stay here again for the amount the my charge u can get a luxury resort

Great view

The view of the beach is panoramic and perfect- there's no obstructions. The space could be a bit cleaner (like the sofa and floors) although the bed/sheets were very clean. The space was equipped with lots of beach gear which was awesome (beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler bags, ice packs, etc.).

Surprise engagement stay!!!!!!!

What an amazing stay it was. I booked this place for a surprise engagement with my partner of 11 years. From The start the communication was amazing. The listing in my opinion doesn’t do justice for what it really is DONT BE AFRAID TO BOOK We’re so so happy with everything! We will definitely be booking again! Again I can’t say enough what an awesome stay we had!

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. Communication with the host was outstanding and they were truly accommodating in every way. A great area of Waikiki. Walking distance to everything and the views from the balcony are breathtaking. We can’t wait to come back !

Great location on Waikiki beach

Overall it was a great stay! As expected for 700 sq ft, our family of 4 (youngest 17) was a little cramped even with a inflatable bed we brought with us. It would be nice if the four chairs for the one table were a little more comfortable. Everthing else was as described. Spectacular mornings on the balcony overlooking the park and beach.

Everything was great - property was exactly as listed. It’s a great location looking over the park.

Check-in was super easy, we were met as we drove up to checkin through the gate and access the condo. Waikiki Shores location is perfect - right in the middle of everything. It’s about 1.5 miles up towards the Ala Moana Park area, and 1.5 miles towards the end of the beach area before Diamond Head.

Pros — • Clean room, lovely view, well equipped kitchen to prepare any food you like. Cons — • Linens and towels heavily scented with supermarket like detergent and dryer sheet smell. – Not sure if this is an unusual occurrence but our linens and all towels smelled heavily of laundry detergent and dryer sheet scent to where it was noticeable while sleeping and just touching the towels left a scent on our skin, if you are allergic to this sort of thing or just find it unappealing you may not want to stay here. • Need a key fob to access secondary lobby and elevator floor selection. — Make sure you contact the agent and inform them when you will arrive at the building so that they can give you a key fob to access the secondary lobby and elevator floor selection, otherwise you'll be standing by waiting asking tenants if they can let you in and take you to your floor. More Pros — • This is a very convenient location to walk southeast to the quieter areas of Waikiki beach and also to main shopping and dining areas on Kalakua Ave. • The apartment has a very home like feeling, not like a boring hotel room.

Beautiful view, great location

Listing was just as described. Room was clean and had just about everything you could need for your stay. We really enjoyed the location and was in walking distance of shopping, dining, and of course the beach.

Needs a Lot of Work

We had stayed at this complex before, in different unit and it was a good experience. This unit was not. The carpet needs to be replaced. After walking on it for just an evening, my feet were black. The tile on the lanai was cracked and buckled (a safety hazard). Our son used the sofa sleeper and it was horribly uncomfortable (he said it felt like it was filled with baseballs). The view is great and the Wi-Fi was fast but the disrepair of the unit ruined our stay so much that we moved to the Outrigger next door and just ate the cost of this dump.

Great Vacation on the beach as promised

The unit was very clean and had all promised supplies. The view is spectacular, able to see sunset from lanai. Unit overlooks the Army museum, unabstructed view of the ocean and sunset. Would love if unit came with beach chairs and beach umbrella, but we purchased these at Walmart to save on chair and umbrella rental cost. While the unit does not have parking, beware of high cost of public parking upto $80.00 per night. Excellent location, easy walking to restaurants and shopping 5 to 10 minutes away. We would stay here again.

Ocean view exceptional

The unit surpassed our expectations for view and location. No one from management was availble to let us in. Another resident helped us in. From then on, everything was amazing. View was everything we wished for. Check out was easy. We would highly recommend the rental unit.

Waikiki Shores Condo Rental

Property showed its near 40 year old construction - cracked grout lines, broken and missing window louvre handles, and, in one location a missing louvre completely. Very noisy traffic and next door construction location. Would not return.

Great Location

The view from the 10th floor was amazing. Just a few things that would make the stay better. A shelf in the shower to hold soap and shampoo. Having to leave it on the floor of dirty water is awkward. Also supply a Tide pod for the clothes washer. It’s impossible to buy just one at a store. TV should be upgraded, small screen and bad sound quality. Table on lani was too big for the space. The second day we made a special request for a fan. The management company left one at the door which was great However the base needed to be attached with a screwdriver which they did not provide. It would have been nice if they took that step and assembled it before delivery. Overall we enjoyed the unit. The convenience of walking right out to the beach was fantastic.

Great location with breathtaking balcony view

The property was just as described. I was slightly concerned the sofa bed mattress would be uncomfortable as another reviewer previously stated, but that was not the case. Both the kitchen as well as the washer and dryer were an added bonus. However, I hope people do read the description for this complex carefully because I overlooked the fact that there is NO parking available. Sure there are four spaces available to guests for a 3 hour limit (guests are not allowed to park there between 3-6 am), but clearly if people rent out a car, that’s not going to work out. Other adjacent hotels do have parking spaces, but they are quite pricey. Here’s my tip, if you rent a car for more than a few days, just go across the street and purchase the monthly parking at Fort De Rousey for $185. It’s expensive, but believe me it’s not as expensive as paying for daily parking. We had a rechargeable car and twice my husband went next door to the Outrigger and they were very friendly about letting us park in their guest only lot to charge our vehicle. You can make a purchase at the bar and then have your ticket validated. Same with the pool. Waikiki Shore does not have its own pool, but if you go next door to the Outrigger and consume some of their drinks/meals, staff is ok with letting you in. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay. Again, the views from our room were beyond perfection, there are plenty of restaurants and designer as well as wallet friendly shops not too far from Waikiki, and plenty of fun at the beach. Mahalo! We truly enjoyed our stay.

Great location, amazing view, very clean

We booked the property for a 4 night stay in Honolulu. The property is at the north end of Waikiki beach next to Fort Derussy Beach Park within walking distance to the "main drag" - Kalakaua Ave, numerous restaurants and shopping. We had the BEST view of the Friday night fireworks from the Sheraton. The condo itself was immaculate and more than comfortable with a well appointed kitchen, nice living/sitting area, and king size bed.
