Room was clean and staff friendly. We were pleased with the location - walkable to shopping, dining and to Waikiki Beach. Although be aware the beach at the hotel is very small and Waikiki is very crowded. We didn’t spend any time there except quick visits. The pools were nice, refreshingly cool but you have to get there early to get a spot which was fine but only a few umbrellas there. The pool bar drinks were very good, we had lunch once there and it was fine. Expensive for 2 sandwiches but we expected that. The restaurant at night was excellent - food and drinks were great. We had breakfast on our first day and skipped it the rest of the week. Limited menu and pricey.
Our room had a partial ocean view and we enjoyed looking at the ocean or city. The deck was great! Room was a fine size for 2 of us BUT the bathroom was too small. Small sink outside in the room - I don’t like that setup in any hotel.
On our last night I asked the desk if we could check out an hour later (noon) and she said I could for a $25 fee. I declined after paying a resort fee of $50 a day and barely being at the hotel.
