On the plus side: This property is in a fantastic location within Honolulu. Right on Waikiki beach and overlooking a park. We had birds and sunsets and city fireworks and rainbows and beautiful water to look at. Our contact, Paul, was very easy to work with, responded to texts, and met us right out front. He explained the whole process and made check-in stress free. We paid the rental company to get us access to parking across the street - that whole process was super easy and parking was safe and close. It also has A/C which was nice in the evening.The negatives: While the apartment was clean for us, it does need some tlc. There's a whole wall near the bathroom that is crumbling apart from previous water damage. There's a cracked tile in the living area, and the blinds are missing many slats or the slats are broken, which means there isn't total privacy if you want it. No beach gear, either, which is a bummer when you're staying on the beach. They did have towels for the beach. With a little work, this could be a 5 star property but for the price, it felt a little bit run-down. I can't argue with the location though - it's spectacular!
