  • Summary:

    You'll feel as though you've set sail on Hood Canal when you wake up each day at this unique waterfront home in Hoodsport. Greet the morning sun on the wrap-around deck, sip a mug of coffee at the water's edge, and dangle your feet in the lapping waves from a seat on the staircase.



    The 12-sided design of this dodecagon home maximizes the incredible sound-front views to the east. You'll be in awe of the scene framed by the large picture windows, whether you're preparing meals in the kitchen or watching movies at day's end.



    The Space:

    The single-level floor plan is open, with one side of the great room occupied by the kitchen, where you'll find stainless steel appliances (including a French-door refrigerator and a dishwasher) and a circular dining room table. On the other side is a living room with comfortable seating and a smart TV.



    Outside on the wrap-around deck, you can grill in the sunshine, dine overlooking the water, or even descend a few stairs for a brisk swim in Hood Canal. And if you choose to stroll to Hoodsport's restaurants, shops, and conveniences less than half a mile up the road, you'll come home to the comforts of free WiFi and a private washer/dryer to take care of all your laundry needs.



    Fall and winter are prime time for scuba diving. Two full-service dive shops are within walking distance and can cater to any diver regardless of experience level. An underwater diver’s park can be found just outside the house. Orcas have been known to visit the canal during the colder months. Feel free to use the shed to store scuba gear or outdoor toys/equipment.

Sanctuary on the water

Waking up to sunrise on the water and evenings to the crashing sounds of waves - just can’t be beat. Home is the perfect size for our family of four and kitchen is fully stocked - we were able to make meals every day. Loved that it’s walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, and local distillery and a short car ride away from nice hiking and activities.

This place is right next to the water and it was so nice to sit with the fire and watch the waves. We booked it for a working weekend and it was so nice to be doing work but also feel relaxed with the sound of the waves.The house was very clean and we had all we needed. The mattresses are on the firm side which was perfect for me. Honestly, slept like a rock in this house. There were scuba lessons going on outside in the water, which was fun to watch, especially the ones at night when they used flash lights to see the bioluminescent algae. Such a delight!

The Waterfront home was very welcoming. Valentines decor as well as valentines chocolates were all around the house. The home was lovely and very peaceful.

Beautiful view of the canal and all it’s sea critters.

We had a wonderful stay. It was so peaceful to wake up and watch the water. It’s a very cozy and warm place to stay for a winter visit.

Great getaway

Hoodsport is a quiet community on the Hood Canal, Pacific Northwest nature at it's best. Good restaurants and a terrific grocery store nearby the house. We really loved the Fjord Oyster Bar
