“We have stayed at this hotel a few times over past 20 years or so. I believe our last time was just after a renovation and actually was quite nice then. I do not believe it has been renovated since that time (not sure of year, maybe 2009?). The room this time was just "okay". It was fairly clean but definite signs of wear (paint chipping, water damage on bathroom floor, no shower curtain liner, TV remote didn't not work correctly, etc.).
