“We had a lovely stay at the Grape Escape. While it is truly roughing it, all our needs were met and the host was easy to contact if we needed anything. Hammondsport was an awesome town, with nice options for food, drinks, and vibes. Great food everywhere we tried, but Portside Bistro was our favorite. ”

“We were there for a half marathon in Montour Falls. We enjoyed hiking at Watkins Glen State Park as well as walking and eating in town. We both love nature and forest. The yurt was delightful and felt like cabins we stayed in as children. Thank You for a peaceful stay. ”

“The grounds were surrounded by native beautiful flowers and a flock of sheep resided there as well with 2 beautiful dedicated watchdogs. Peaceful and tranquil location made it feel like a real getaway with only a short drive away to the Watkins glen sites. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. ”

“Nice,quiet cabin in wooded area not far from lake with access close by to Smith Park. Host is close by if needed but we didn't have reason to do any extra communication because check in and out is quite clear.Cabin is well stocked and well maintained.Enjoy the large front porch.”

“This was such a beautiful, serene place. Location was excellent for Ithaca, Watkins Glen and Cornell waterfall trails and hiking. The upstairs loft was super cute but we slept on the futon downstairs, which was so comfortable with a thick memory foam topper. Also, I had never experienced bath towels like these.... so luxurious!We had company at our mightly campfires. Very friendly feline friends.This is cozy, country charm with a bit of artistic whimsy.
