“The one bedroom unit I booked had a well-equipped kitchen and lots of space - lounge seating for four, dining table for the same and a very large patio. The Grounds had just had a spring tidy and trim. Access from the Strand but my garden-view unit was to the rear and incredibly quiet. I was sad I only had one night. ”

“Three nights in this hotel in Townsville on Palmer Street, just far enough from all the restaurants so as not to be disturbed by noise. The Maritime Museum (which was very interesting) is opposite the hotel and another museum (also interesting) and aquarium are a 10 minute walk in the direction of the beach. A five minute walk to the tourist information centre and the shops. I was given 250 megabytes of free wifi per day - 750 for three days - and of course my smart phone "ate" them all up...
