“Amazing place. If you want a relaxing stay with a awesome view, this is the place. Loved just sitting on the HUGE deck reading a book, looking at the mountains and watching the deer stroll through the property. The cabin has everything you could want and more. It is VERY dog friendly. A remote location that is just 15 min drive to town that has anything you need from restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops and movie theater. Will definitely stay here again when need to just get away!”

“One of the most beautiful VRBOs we’ve stayed in. New home with lovely decorating, awesome view, and every amenity one can think of. Not just hot tub and ping pong but keurig plus coffee pot, fully stocked kitchen, wood for firepit, detergent for laundry, basketball hoop, yard for football, wine and local popcorn, etc. So thoughtfully done.The driveway was a little scary, so I would not stay here in heavy rain or snow/ice. We managed to get up and down the driveway in our Toyota Sienna (2wd) but...

“Located conveniently near the interstate, this tastefully updated small farmhouse is perfect for a couple or small family. The large king bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well supplied, charcoal grill, portable fire pit, and outdoor chairs added a great touch. Front and side porch/deck was very comfortable for outdoor sitting. Likely one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. Great choice for time away! ”

“The place was perfect with a great host. I was a relaxing view and peaceful place to take a break and visit with friends who lost everything in Helene last year. Greenville is a Historic town as is the State of Franklin area. This was the perfect place for us and had everything you would need for a weeks stay. We hope to be back again.”

“We took a spur of the moment trip to Asheville and this was the perfect place to stay. Communication was easy and the space is well stocked and furnished.”

“We (2 seniors and 3 girls - 5 to 11) had the BEST week at the Farm Barn. We were enchanted with the baby pigs and goats, the swing was a huge hit and Farmer Steve was patient and allowed the girls to help him. We will never forget our week. Thank you. It was hot part of the week and not having A/C made it sticky but it truly was the only negative. And we would not have traded the experience.”

Everyone enjoyed the farm tour and smores party, seeing and meeting all the animals, watching the piglets, holding baby chicks etc. There is so much room outside to explore and play. It’s so peaceful, none of us really wanted to go home. Kids are already planning our next visit. ”

Joe is the ideal host, readily available, quick to respond, and extending warmth and welcome. We always recommend going to his food truck on the property too--delicious BBQ!
