“Great place”

“The location was really good for us and the area. The rental was clean and had every thing you would need. We stayed in the first of Sept and there is one small AC for the unit that is located in the bedroom. It was off when we arrived and took several hours to cool down and from there we left it on and it was cool enough when we got back in the evenings. A really nice couple owns it and they live on the property but let you have your own space. The outside space was nice to have for our use...

“We used the property as a home base while touring southern South Dakota. A sign as you enter stating "No shoes" would be helpful. The stairs to the loft could be a problem for some individuals”

“This is the perfect place to stay for all of your Black Hills adventures! Located in downtown Custer within walking distance to shops, great restaurants, laundromat, and a grocery store. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, a bucket of snacks, and a binder full of tourist information. Clean and very cozy. We would definitely stay here again.”
