Please Note:

1. Pet Policy: **This property is NOT pet friendly. Please note, if we find evidence of an unauthorized pet in the home, we will ask for it to be removed immediately and guests will be charged a $400 non-refundable fine. This is also grounds for immediate removal of the guests from the home.

2. No Smoking: If any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay $200.00 / per day.

3. Note, we do have a security camera at the home and it is recording 24/7, 365 days a year. It is facing the front exterior of the home. There are no cameras inside the home.

4. Quiet hours for the property are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please keep the noise levels down over this time.

5. Upon booking, each guest will receive a guest rental agreement. This must be signed before the House Manual (which includes access instructions for the property) is sent.

6. While there is no (or really poor) service at our haven, we do provide strong Wi-Fi to keep you going!

7. We provide complimentary 24/7 communication to ensure that your stay exceeds your expectations! Please feel free to reach out to us day or night and we will provide you with a swift response!

8. There are NO LONG CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS! We want for you to be able to fully enjoy every minute of your stay at our haven!

Beautiful, well-maintained home with plenty of parking for several vehicles and a boat. The hottub and pool table were a huge hit with our family. The covered deck and firepit area is where most of our time was spent. One of the best properties we have stayed in at Lake Raystown.

Maplewood Haven was just that!

Our family had a wonderful time at Maplewood Haven. The house was as described...it was unbelievably clean, the bedrooms were ample size, the living, kitchen/dining areas were just right and the porches, fire pit area and hot tub patio were perfect. The sound of the stream and crackling fire were so relaxing. We hope to visit again.

Friends for Life

We are a group of classmates that get together once a year. The group loved this cabin! It is clean, well maintained, with all the amenities. We stayed at the cabin instead of goig out, for most of our three days here because we just loved the location and the peace and quiet. The hot tub was heaven! A suggestion for our host: please add the following:wine glasses, steak knives, give the current knives a sharpening, and a refill of the salt & pepper.Otherwise, our stay was perfect! Thank you!

More relaxation than we could handle!

We truly had a lovely couple of days/nights in this house. We needed a day to recover from all the relaxing we did, silly as it sounds! The house is truly beautiful, inside and out, and it is made for relaxing and just enjoying life. Absolute favorite feature for me - the turf around the hot tub. I know that seems minor but to NOT have to get grass or dirt or stones or whatever off the bottom of our feet before getting in OR after getting out of the hot tub was really great! My mom really enjoyed relaxing and occasionally napping on the back porch, listening to the lovely sound of running water from the oh so cute creek on the property! My wife and I were super impressed with cleanliness of the whole house; hands down THE cleanest rental we've ever stayed in. We used the fire pit one evening to make S'mores and if we had stayed another night or so I know we would have had an evening outside at the fire pit. The lighting around it at night is perfect! The only hiccup we had (and a very minor one at that) was the fridge was set to a very low temp and nothing was getting cold/er. There's a setting ON the outside of left door for a quick cool down (can't recall the exact name of it but it worked great!). So not really a complaint - just a note for folks to remember if they experience a less than optimal fridge temp. I can totally see us renting this again and having nearby family over for a day of relaxing, grilling, sitting by the fire pit or playing pool in the basement.

50th birthday retreat

This was a great property and location for some old teamates to get away and relax for a few days. The Allegrippis trail system at nearby Raystown lake offered great moutain biking trails and some amazing view. The house and property was extremely clean and well kept. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Great house

Everything was clean and new, spotless and private. Perfect place for rest and enjoy nature, a small creek runs next to the house making a relaxing environment. Only thing: bring all the food you need for meals, there's absolutely no place to shop (30 minutes drive to the closest shop, a general dollar store) and 40 minutes for an eagle store. No coffee place, except 6mile dinner, Sunday almost every place to eat is closed. Driving directions from Google are not exact. Will take you to the property next to, so make sure you look for the sign Maplewood Haven which is in the front lawn. Good place to stay!!!

Nice but with variables

Very nice tucked away property, but the down size would be toilet handle in one bathroom was broke, same bathroom shower curtain was missing part of the hardwear.. Kitchen door was ripped of cabinet with a hand written note ' sorry' lights at the hot tub where not working. Overall vents where very dirty and just needed a general clean. You would assume the amount they charge you for a cleaning fee ahaead of your stay it should of been better then it was. Neighbor showed up with his tractor stating 'he checks on the place' but gotta be honest with you if we are paying to rent it out for vacation dont come up or around unless asked to be.

Beautifully thought out!

My gf and I wanted a weekend away from reality so we found this little Gem online. Its suitable for more than a cpl but an excellent location with great amenities. The turf around the hot tub was a great idea. No muddy grassy feet to mess with! Watching tv from the couch on the deck in the evening with the night deck lighting was great! We even had game night with pool, corn hole, and Yatzee around the outdoor firepit. My only complaint with the property itself was the electrical. Master bedroom breaker was thrown upon arrival. Cell service was extremely poor. And our fridge breaker when out overnight mid stay. We woke up and went straight to hiking for the day. When we returned, everything in thr fridge was room temp. I checked the breaker box and when i reset the fridge breaker it kept tripping. I didnt bother contacting anyone as the purpose for our trip was seclusion plus we made due with non perishables for the last day. No biggie. But the property itself is gorgeous and looks to be brand new build! Would definitely stay again.

Girls Getaway!

Although the weather didn’t exactly cooperate, we thoroughly enjoyed our girls getaway at this beautiful cabin. Very clean with comfy beds and all the necessities of home! Loved how the cabin was surrounded by trees and no noisy neighbors. We were still able to enjoy the covered porch, hot tub and firepit, despite the cold and rainy days!

Friendship

Four of us lady’s stayed at the cabin and loved it. It was so clean. With everything you would want for a getaway. Hot tub was wonderful!! The patio and porches were so nice to set on and relax. We got to meet the maid service and they were warm, caring and friendly and people. It was a wonderful experience. We’re thinking of going back next year!!!

Family Time

The property had everything we needed to spend time together as a family! In our busy world.. it’s hard. The cabin was clean, well stocked and was exactly as it was described on line!! The 2 porches were relaxing. The fire pit area had 6 chairs and a great fire pit to cook hot dogs over! We are planning a return trip in the fall!!! Ty
