“Beautiful, quirky home that was spotlessly clean and perfectly situated. The neighborhood was quaint but well-kept and walkable. The house was well appointed and perfect for our group of 6 adults and 3 children. As it is a newer rental property, it doesn’t have the usual collection of sundry spices and pantry items left by previous guests so bring all cooking ingredients. The Pac-Man game in the basement was a big hit with the children. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed the house....

“Home is clean with lots of space. Brand new kitchen with everything you need for meal preparation. Well maintained home that is close to grocery store and easy to get to. Host was very responsive to a couple of small issues we had, and even sent an associate of his in the evening to take care of the issues. Home needs to be considered for your next stay in Minneapolis.”

“A very quaint and beautiful space! I imagined it to be like a little cottage in Italy; down the street from the vineyard. New, quality, well decorated place. The flower gardens were so beautiful. It was like a little gem in the middle of rolling, green hills. Loved every bit of this charming space!”

“The beds and pillows were amazing. Really clean, kitchen well stocked. We only made coffee but there is plenty of everything you would need to make anything. There are several great restaurants that are within walking distance. Quiet neighborhood. Stayed for the weekend to attend a sewing workshop at Treadle Yard Goods. The VRBO list a hot tub but there wasn’t one and the info we received at check in from VRBO didn’t have the WIFi info. We emailed the host and she was great! Fast response!...

“This was our second time staying at grandmas cottage. The hosts are incredible with having our needs met. It’s an easy checkin and checkout process. The location is great and the home is very comfortable. These grandparents will stay again when we want to visit our grandchildren that live in the same neighborhood. Thanks for a perfect stay!”

“Had a great time property is close to Mall of America and The U. My son is deciding on where to attend college and was a great location to bring the family (myself, husband, younger brother and dogs)”

“We were there when it was snowing and later in the weekend when it was sunshiny and warm. We lit a fire in the wood burning stove and walked outside and enjoyed the labyrinth. We heard the coyotes yip and watched the hawks fly over the bluff. We braked for turkeys and deer. We also made the short trek into Red Wing for serious shopping and spent time at Lena’s. In short we loved it all!”

“The cottage is a small, simple and pleasant stay. Was clean and smelled wonderfully so. The only suggestion would be the full size beds. I understand a queen would take over but it would be a benefit at least in the larger bedroom. My husband ended up sleeping on the floor our 2nd night. Overall, it was a great stay.”

“Clean and has everything we need! Breakfast is okay, nothing much to eat. Downside is no housekeeping daily so we out of toilet papers! Otherwise the price is good! Didnt see any bugs or roach!!! Will stay again. Building is newly updated. ”
