Komfortig stuga i skogen med stor festdäck

Helt utrustade med de flesta bekvämligheter i hemmet, vi hyr ut på natten, veckan eller månaden från 1 mars till 15 december (det tillåter vädret). Vårt läge är en skog med 6,5 hektar skog. Weekendpriserna är något högre än veckodagar på grund av efterfrågan. Vi kan hyra i månaden med den ränta som är beroende av den månad som begärs. Ring för denna prissättning, tack.

Kom till Raystown och njut av massor av vattenaktiviteter: simning, fiske, paddling, kajakpaddling samt vandring, cykling och fågelskådning! Du kan hoppa in i Dirt Fest på Allegrippis Trail eller prova ditt favorit revben recept på vår Grill på Beach-evenemanget. K-Bass turneringen är planerad på våren och skapelsen, Christian Music Festival kommer till Orbisonia i juni. En semester i Raystown kommer att vara en som kommer ihåg i många år framöver. Kan inte ta en vecka? Besök oss för en långhelg eller, ännu bättre, kom under veckan till rabatterat pris!

Raystown Lake är en populär vattenväg i södra centrala Pennsylvania. Den 29 mil långa sjön och det omgivande området ägs till stor del av den federala regeringen med flera statliga parker och skogar i närheten. Det är ett underbart område att tillbringa en familjesemester med bra vandring, jakt, båtliv, simning, fiske och fågelskådning. Andra populära attraktioner inkluderar grottor, railroading, ridning, sjö kryssningar, båtuthyrning bara för att nämna några. För golfare erbjuder Huntingdon Country Club en offentlig golfbana cirka 4 miles norr om oss. Volontärer har nyligen skapat Allegrippis Trail som är populär bland cykelentusiaster. Fiske turneringar täta området och grill på stranden hålls i september. Under din vistelse kan du vara välsignad för att se en björn som simmar över sjön eller en skallig örn som återvänder till boet.

Kabinen är också bara 10 minuters bilresa från Juniata College i Huntingdon, PA och ca 45 minuters bilresa till Penn State University huvud campus i State College, PA

Nice

Nice place. Clean, old style authentic cabin in a nice location between Huntingdon and lake Raystown. Great for mountain biking weekend being only 4-5 miles from the main trailhead. Great deck area. Nothing fancy and maybe not beautiful place but just what you need to get away. Host is quick to respond to any text questions.

Second Visit to Warrior Ridge

It was nice to have it meet our expectations again this year. Still a quiet and private location. It rained so we didn’t get to enjoy the outside spaces, however the TV, two couches, and large dinning table were plenty of space for us to enjoy quality family time. Plenty of space for our little chihuahua to run around too. The 4 single beds upstairs are great for the early sleepers to turn in early, shut the door and allow the late night talks to continue in the living room. Linda is great with communication and again was able to accommodate our late check out. Thanks so much!

Perfect for a Rustic Weekend Getaway!

We came out for a weekend while visiting a local college campus. A very private and beautiful wooded area. We appreciated the deck and fire pit area. Plenty of space for a cozy family weekend. Will book again!

Cabin in woods girls get away

3rd time staying at one of warrior ridge hideaway cabins. Once again, we totally loved our stay!!! Linda is an exceptional host and goes above and beyond!!! So quiet, peaceful and relaxing! Well stocked with all you need, clean and smells good. We are already planning our next stay soon!!!

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

For the price this was well worth it! I stayed here with my husband and two grandsons for three nights in this rustic cabin. The driveway to the cabin is primitive, and the directions the owner's provided were clear. The cabin had everything we needed to be comfortable including a full kitchen (with an auto drip coffeemaker), full bath and entertainment center. Woods surround this cabin along with three other cabins that are comfortably spaced apart. This would be a great rental for a family reunion or group get together - where others can rent the other cabins! Raystown Lakes beaches & marina are about 20 min from the cabin. The grocery store is about a 10 min ride (if that). Lincoln Caverns are about 20-30 min from cabin and are worth the visit! This is a great place to stay to enjoy the lake, the peace of the woods & time with friends and family! We are going back next year! ☆☆☆☆☆

Exactly what we were hoping for

Comfy, cozy, cabin in the woods. The property is wonderfully secluded in a rustic relaxing setting. The cabin was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of fishing. Linda is a wonderful host as well! Thanks again for the clean up after the storm.

Not clean and Just Not worth What you are Paying

When you pay that much for a property, you expect a minimum level of quality and this is more of a hunting cabin than a place to stay. Walls have holes in them, the carpets are cut up pieces put on the floor and everything in the place is from the 60s or 70s. It does have decent wifi and cellular service and the water pressure was good and there was hot water. The location is convenient to the lake, but you probably need an SUV to get up to the cabin due to gravel road and holes. We had to go out and buy clorox wipes to clean a bit the first day. Even hand soap was not provided.

Perfect Rain Weekend Retreat

Our annual Veterans Day hike was a washout…this was the perfect last minute rain break for us to still hang out with friends. Played Risk, Poker and card games on the porch. When the rain was not pouring, we spent time around the fire. The house everything we needed and our hosts had everything in good order for our arrival. It exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend for a getaway. Thanks to our hosts for a great stay.

Cozy and Clean

We came for a fishing tournament at Raystown and this was closer and more convenient than staying at a hotel. It is rustic and vintage, but the bedding and cabin were clean, shower water pressure was strong and hot and it had everything needed to cook our meals.

Great rustic cabin within 10 mins of Seven Points Marina

My family and friends stayed over Labor day and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a rustic cabin with all the modern amenities. I found it to be clean. As a camper I enjoyed being tucked in the woods and feeling remote yet only 10 minutes from Seven Points Marina. We did have two pontoons with us that we parked at Jim's Anchorage for the weekend for $25.

Raystown Lake excursion.

Cabin was a really great location for us. Level convenient parking. Lots of cooking space inside and out. Nice fire pit. Full size refrigerator. Kitchen randomly stocked. Could always find a dish, pan or utensil we could use. Only two drawbacks we had were: Stairs do not have a railing at the top. And tub needs a mat. We had 2 elderly single people in our group.

Super easy check in and out process. Plus the property is pretty nice. Not that close to the others so couldn’t hear anyone and doubt they heard us lol. If i think about staying up there again would probably go here!

Peaceful and Private

We enjoyed our stay, it was so relaxing and private. No interruptions, it was great! Nestled in the woods and yet, so close to everything. Don't worry about Wi-Fi, if you have Verizon, I had great cell service. The place is clean, kicked back, no worries. I especially loved hearing a rooster in the distance. We would like to stay again. Boating and riding the Allegrippis trails

Our family had a fabulous time enjoying all the goodness in the Raystown area. The property is rustic. The covered porch and fire pit were favorite hang out spots. All the bedding was clean and we appreciated not having to bring it along. Linda and her husband were super helpful.

Cabin needs deep cleaning

Check in and communication with the owner was great, but the cabin needed a deep cleaning, and comfortable mattresses (we stayed at cabin #2, and no wifi is accessible). The second floor bedroom (which sleeps four people) mattresses were hard. The first floor bedrooms were hot, and needed air conditioning because of the summer heat. There were spider webs on my queens size bedroom ceiling (first floor). The sofas in the living-room smelled bad but were comfy. The bathroom wall next to the toilet had a hole where we think a mouse came from. Within the last three days of our stay, the mouse from time to time would run around the livingroom, kitchen, and bathroom. Overall, what made our vacation great was the outdoor barbecuing, campfire, and great location which made outdoors activities very accessible.
