âLovely hotel, our room was great and breakfast fantastic. Didnât use the pool, fitness centre or spa so canât comment but they looked nice. Did do a 7km walk run on one of the recommended routes around the hotel which was very scenic. Weâll definitely return when the build is finished and new restaurant is open.â
âHad a very comfortable stay. Beds really comfy. Staff really good especially Fiona she was very helpful. One little thing shower was too cold and also could do with recycling bins . It was lovely and clean . Have stayed before and would definitely stay again. Durham a lovely city. â
âWe really enjoyed our stay at The Fox Hall Inn. Our room was modern, spotlessly clean, comfortable, good value for money, and the free continental breakfast (delivered to our room) was an added bonus!
The staff were welcoming and attentive and it was the perfect stop off for a couple of nights whilst visiting Barnard Castle, about 10 minutes away by car.
I think a car would be needed to reach the property, but I am unsure of the local bus service.

Nothing is too much for the staff and are extremely attentive to any need

The drinks from the bar were a bit pricey so make sure you take money

âWe had a lovely stay, our family room was a little less fancy than the rwat of the hotel but thats fine, the food was lovely and so were the staff.
The pool was nice, the area needs a little bit of a refresh and the spa was out of order but overall we had a loveky stay and will be back. â
âThe hotel staff were lovely, we were upgraded to a deluxe room with a hot tub, as it was my partners 50th birthday. Also a lovely touch, a bottle of prosecco waiting in the room with a card.
