"Our first room was uninhabitable due to concrete drilling in the room next door. WHY do they put a guest next door??? When I called and asked them to stop, they said the work would continue for another two hours but that we could change rooms. I said I wanted the noise to stop because we had already unpacked everything. Their solution? They offered us earplugs! Later, we were contacted by a manager who handled the issue in a professional manner. Breakfast was chaotic. The tables were arranged in a way that forced people to squeeze past where you were sitting. On the second day, we chose to have breakfast in the Club Lounge instead, which was calm, although the selection was of course more limited. Speaking of the Club Lounge, we were informed by a staff member that we could enjoy the afternoon tea even after checking out, which we appreciated. However, when we arrived in the afternoon, we were questioned and were only reluctantly allowed in, and only for tea/coffee and a small pastry. A good hotel, but as mentioned – inconsistent quality. A window cleaner who greets you and is very friendly. On the other hand, a restaurant staff member who bumps into you without even apologizing."

"We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed in a family room for 4 nights. We were welcomed by the reception with a big smile. The service was excellent and the room was spacious and comfortable. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel and an MRT station 4-5 min walking, which made it easy to visit all the places we intended to visit. The stay was quite pleasant and we enjoyed every bit of it."
