âThis is a really beautiful property and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My wifeâs birthday was on one of the days we were there and they surprised her with a birthday cake. No one told them it was her birthday, they just saw it from her passport and did this on their own. Our room was modern with a great balcony with a great view of the volcano. âI stayed at this hotel for two nights and really enjoyed my stay. The property is a former mansion that once belonged to a Peruvian president who served from 1899 to 1903. He arranged for our laundry to be cleaned on short notice, he gave us a lot of advice on what to see and where to eat. He also arranged a driver to take us to Colca canyon. So helpful!â
