“Stayed 2 nights to rest and recover before going to Tokyo. The hotel was a short walk from the station with idyllic scenery with beautiful Sakura and mountains. The personelle were super nice and helpful. They provided a free bus ride to the snow monkey park. The room was spacious and comfy. The hotel dinner and breakfast were amazing. “We stayed one night at this onsen during our two week holiday throughout Japan. The service was second to none (except that they had no lunch to offer upon arrival, so don´t arrive hungry). We had a japanese style room with bath on the balcony and a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains, which is really to recommend as the japanese style bath on the 7th floor is public and separated by men and women (in line with japanese bathing tradition). “The room was everything I dreamed of having in an Onsen. It was beautifully appointed and impeccably clean. We chose the room with the western beds and found it quite comfortable and very spacious. The staff was extremely helpful. Spoke English well, and the food was amazing. The presentation of both our breakfast and dinner was a beautiful display of Japanese aesthetics. We loved the mineral bath, and we love the fact that we had an indoor and an outdoor mineral pool.”

“Hotellet ligger bra till för alla 5 skidsystemen i Hakuba regionen. Personalen pratar urusel engelska eller andra språk. De 3 restaurang erna i hotellet har bra men är på tok för dyra, de har ingen afterski eller t ex dagens rätt.”

Much better than any of the pictures show, even had Dyson hairdryers and good quality hair and body products :) The room was small but very clean. Overall value for your money is 10/10. The only two things I can comment on are that I wished the restaurant would have been open for breakfast and that we would have gotten better info about the cleaning. “Liked the concept with beds on the floor and the room was big. Great breakfast and very nice straff. They also had a lovely Onsen. The hotel was on walking distance to the skiarea Happo One (aprox 1 km). If you wanted to go to Hakuba 47 the bus stop was right outside of the hotel with free shuttle service! ”

“Vi besökte Sierra Resort i slutet på skidsäsongen (påsk)och fann att det var ett modernt och trevligt hotell med utmärkt service. Våra 2 tvåbäddsrum blev till 2 fyrabäddssviter. Hotellet ligger lite utanför skidorten och man är därför beroende av hotellets "shuttle bus" för att röra sig men den fungerade utmärkt och det även på kvällen när man var på restaurang nere i byn.
