They gave us free use of the SUPs and kayaks which was lots of fun.
The rooms were nice and freshly renovated.
Highly recommended for either a summer stay to enjoy the lake activities or a winter stay to hit the nearby slopes.

“We stayed one night at this onsen during our two week holiday throughout Japan. The service was second to none (except that they had no lunch to offer upon arrival, so don´t arrive hungry). “Very nice Ryokan hotel, just a 2 minute walk from Yudanaka station. Very friendly staff, cozy room, great onsen baths, nice japanese breakfast. Our only complaint is that the mattresses were a bit too thin and the room got quite cold when the electric heater was turned off.”
“Very cute Ryokan hotel. We booked a Japanese style room including dinner and breakfast, food was very tasty if you like traditional Japanese food. If you prefer other cuisines you might opt for booking a room that doesn’t have food included. Staff is very friendly! We booked private onsen and that was also very nice. “Stayed 2 nights to rest and recover before going to Tokyo. The hotel was a short walk from the station with idyllic scenery with beautiful Sakura and mountains.
The personelle were super nice and helpful. They provided a free bus ride to the snow monkey park.
The room was spacious and comfy. The hotel dinner and breakfast were amazing. Highly recommend the dinner.
The onsen was really hot which took some time getting used to but I think that’s part of the experience.

“Stayed here for a week with my friends, couldn’t have wished for anything more, Yu-San and his wife are a lovely couple, good breakfast every morning, very helpful with dinner tips and shuttle back and forth to town or different ski areas.
Will stay here again next time I’m in Myoko.”
