“Place is clean and well looked after, but building going up next door so no sleep in. With early noise, the outlay was quaint, but bit lack of privacy as owener lives behind, thuo helpful bit intrusive. But access from main house felt un easy. But beautiful place , great thai yummy 7min drive ”

“Loved the ambience of this house filled with so many period features. Even better were our hosts David and Lindy who went out of their way to obtain help for me when I fell ill during the night and required hospitalization. The following day, David drove my partner to the hospital to pick me up. A stay at The Laurels is like visiting with old friends, sitting in the living room with other guests of an evening with a glass of wine and a selection of snacks. Breakfast could not have been better....

“Our stay was great! We had a room with a view of the golf course, our room was clean and freshly renovated. Had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Staff from reception through to bar staff were all very polite and eager to help when needed. ”

There were several nice touches like cold water, coffee pod machine, complimentary drinks and treats for when we arrived including breakfast choices, condiments & much more!Great place and Monique is a helpful & responsive host. We really enjoyed our stay. We would recommend the place for anyone and will definitely look at staying here in the future.”
