“The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. “very very dirty. wouldn’t let my dog sleep there. me and my girlfriend slept on top of the bed with are own blankets because we didn’t feel like the bed sheets were clean. better off sleeping in the woods.”

“The location was beautiful and well cared for. It is a true family run business with the feeling of the passion and love of the owners in all aspects. My brother and I enjoyed our stay and met the owners *who gave me a ride back up the hill when I forgot my keys! I would recommend to anyone looking for a Cabot Trail basecamp! ”

“The hotel was ideally located for people travelling on the North Sydney ferry trips to Newfoundland - a simple drive down the hill, a few turns, and you are at the ferry terminal. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The restaurant was very reasonably priced. The seafood chowder was disappointing, as there was little fish in it. But the roast beef dinner and the serving of mussels was excellent.”
