âWe rode on a motorcycle for 10 hours under constant rain. When we arrived at 10pm, we were soaked. Hot shower was all matters. I am glad the water was very hot. Towels and hair dryer were ready. The room was very clean. They also offer free coffee and some energy bars, which ended up as our dinner. It was a perfect destination for our day.â
âAlthough we were at Paddlerâs Rest briefly, we would return again to enjoy all of the amenities. The private sandy beach, indoor game room, and free use of kayaks and canoes were a huge bonus. The refrigerator in the motel room was sizable. The staff were welcoming and quick to give us dining suggestions.â

Not to far from the center of North Creek. A small town where we went to eat. We ended up at a wine bar and were stunned that so good places could be found right there.

âI've stayed here before and returned twice recently because it's very reasonably priced, very clean and has amenities to make you more comfortable that other places I've stayed don't necessarily have. The Maple Leaf was a great find for me since I've stayed at a few other places in Schroon Lake which were OK, but this is my favorite spot to stay.â
