“We had a lovely time at Walton Manor! We asked for an early check-in, which was graciously accepted. We checked in with ease and were met by the owner's husband, who was incredibly kind. We were also upgraded into one of the rooms with a private bathroom, which we greatly appreciated. In the morning, Angie cooked us a delicious breakfast. As someone who is used to staying in chain hotels, I think this stay gravitated me more towards these sort of accommodations for when we travel. We enjoyed the...

“I loved the little cottage for 2. Even though I was alone for most of my stay. Beautiful grounds, very helpful staff.”

“The breakfast had a hot meal not just a regular continental breakfast. There wasn’t anything to mention that I did not like. It was great n quiet n very clean n smelled great.”

“The property was neat and clean but in bad need of an update. Bathroom had cracked plaster and a stained old toilet. The tub surround was poorly fitted and the tub needed replaced. It worked for one night, but I won't be running right back my next trip through the area.”

“The room was filthy. The floor had not been cleaned there were food spills and dirty spots. The bathroom tub and sink were dirty the toilet seat was stained inside and out. The staff complained about Expedia doing them wrong. I said Expedia does not clean your rooms!! ”

“Clean but pretty run down. The toilet seat had a crack in it, there was no way toilet paper holder, and the blinds didn’t open. It had a fridge and microwave in the room and was clean, but it needs some love. The WiFi also didn’t work very well. ”
