“The house was clean and plenty of room for all of us to lounge after a day of hiking (seating for 4). Appreciated the kitchen being fully stocked and the little cooler for day hikes. We were able to make all our meals which was great since the house is remote. We had a young moose visit us two days. “The place was very clean with everything thing you need. My only issue was the tv and couch weren’t facing each other. After a day of working, I just wanted to relax with a movie. I have a neck fusion so turning my neck far is difficult to do for long. It would be much better to face the couch towards the tv straight on. Even the tv extension only extended out so far. It’s silly but that was my only issue but definitely not a deal breaker. Would stay again. ”

“It was close to Talkeetna and everything we needed. I felt like I was in a 4 star hotel and the bed was more comfortable than mine at home. Jana was very gracious and left water, beer and snacks in the fridge. The only thing we missed was a bigger coffee pot. Would recommend this cabin if you are staying in Talkeetna.”

“Although close to town, this could be a bad spot without at least an all wheel drive. Even though uphill from the river, there were flood warnings for the neighborhood and some of the area coming in had water a foot deep. The weather alerts said it could get deeper which was kind of unnerving. The internet and in turn the tv service was very spotty although this was a big deal for us but streaming was difficult and would cut off.
