“Excellent location to explore Denali. Generous hosts. The only issue was the heater was a bit of a challenge in the main room. Saw northern lights off of the porch and bedroom window.”

“The upstairs accommodations were clean, adequate for a couple. The bathroom was a tad small and awkward but that did not affect the stay. I would stay there again ”

“It was close to Talkeetna and everything we needed. I felt like I was in a 4 star hotel and the bed was more comfortable than mine at home. Jana was very gracious and left water, beer and snacks in the fridge. The only thing we missed was a bigger coffee pot. Would recommend this cabin if you are staying in Talkeetna.”

“This is one of the best VRBO properties I’ve visited. The property owners have outfitted the rental with everything needed in a pinch! She has the fridge stocked with waters and small milk cartons. She has a pantry/coffee nook with coffee pods, creamer, sugars, cereals and instant oatmeals. I have never used a VRBO property that was so handsomely outfitted for the guests. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to visit the Fairbanks area. ”

“Although close to town, this could be a bad spot without at least an all wheel drive. Even though uphill from the river, there were flood warnings for the neighborhood and some of the area coming in had water a foot deep. The weather alerts said it could get deeper which was kind of unnerving. The internet and in turn the tv service was very spotty although this was a big deal for us but streaming was difficult and would cut off. The kitchen amenities were okay but we planned on cooking in...

“The place was very clean with everything thing you need. My only issue was the tv and couch weren’t facing each other. After a day of working, I just wanted to relax with a movie. I have a neck fusion so turning my neck far is difficult to do for long. It would be much better to face the couch towards the tv straight on. Even the tv extension only extended out so far. It’s silly but that was my only issue but definitely not a deal breaker. Would stay again. ”
