“Every room is a suite, but prices vary, and the staff is young. They need a checklist to make sure each room has what they need (shampoo, cups, A/C on…) It’s Pretty around the pool and hot tub was big. I like the mile walk to town in the morning when it’s quiet and calm next to the lake. The entire island is relaxing with great restaurants, yummy perch and walleye bites at the Village Pump. I would return in a minute. Looking forward to going again.”

“The hotel is in an amazing location with beautiful views of the lake, the rooms and all public areas are pristine and clean, & the staff were absolutely amazing. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant, as it's quite overpriced, the menu is quite performative, and the food wasn't that great for the price paid. It is also very small & loud if the patio is not open. That said, it did not deter from how amazing the hotel is. Just find somewhere else to eat during your stay.”

“Travelling with family for a one night stay just passing through Sandusky. Pictures did not do it justice. First of all the surroundings seemed a bit shady and felt generally unsafe. Room was worn down. Key machine was malfunctioning so check in took a long while. Internet access took forever which they blamed on the bad weather. People were being noisy late in the evening and no one seemed to care. Reeked of weed. Would not recommend for a family.”

“Beautiful property in a prime location walking distance to everything in Put in Bay. Very comfortable room (Beach Glass room) Great breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. 10/10.”

“No hairdryer was provided which was an issue at a water park. Everything was good except discount tickets were not provided, told we could only buy ahead of time.”

“The staff is super helpful, the rooms are unique and the area is very nice. The “Oh Taco” restaurant on the premises is a must, especially the guacamole with feta and honey! Don’t miss out on that! Would absolutely recommend staying here.”

“The manager Dawn was amazing and very helpful with accommodating us. This was our first time at Putin Bay, and we will be back and staying at this lodge. The whole staff was very kind. The bartender was amazing. I love the whole set up. When we got there, our Golf cart was there and we got to use that. And Dawn put our stuff in the conference room until her room was ready. So we got to enjoy the day. What a blessing our stay was. Thank you.”

“My husband and I came for our anniversary weekend. We got married at Cedar Point, but wanted to find some other places and things to do in the area. Anchor was a cute little place. When we first pulled in, the first thing I noticed were the beautiful (and real) flowers outside of each room. The property appears very nicely kept.
