“We had a lovely stay at Knoydart Cottage, the cottage itself is very homely and the view is spectacular. The kids had a ball exploring the garden, although we encountered a few ticks, so do keep an eye out. The convenience of the Duisdale Hotel literally being next door was great for the nights we couldn't be bothered cooking dinner. A beautiful part of Skye, Armadale Castle down the road is also a must see, fabulous play area for the kids. Highly recommend 👌”

“Absolutely amazing views of the loch. Private and quiet. Everything we needed was there with local shops with easy parking. We will definitely be returning, as its easy to get to places around the loch.”

“We’ve had five nights in this cottage. We where surprised about the landscape driving towards the cottage; lakes, hills and sea. We saw sheep cows and deer. The cottage was a perfect gift to explore the Isle if Sky. Wood for the fireplace, wine on the table and fresh made cake. We where a bit early but very welcomed by Dorothy and Andy. “We loved everything about New Brackashie cottage. The linens were crisp, the floors in the bathrooms heated, the rain shower downstairs, the comfort of the furniture. The cottage was decorated very tastefully and the view was spectacular. Quiet and serene and so so beautiful. We wished we had longer to stay as we did a tour of Loch Ness out of Inverness and a tour of the Jacobite Steam Train out of Fort William. Wished we had at least one more day to do nothing but enjoy the Loch. Definitely...

“We had a week here in September (10-17th) and loved every minute. We saw otters from the shore one day and did walks in every direction from the house. The weather treated us quite kindly and we managed to be outdoors for a good part of each day without getting (too!) wet. The house was so comfortable and well set up it was always a pleasure to return to. We slept so well too…all the fresh air and a super comfy bed. A great location for exploring Skye and the Glenelg area too.”
