Waterfront lake home w/ fishing, boating, & water activities!

Come and stay in this waterfront, spacious house with open floor plan, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, screened in porch, sun room and open deck located on the Tsala Apopka chain of lakes. Includes private dock and boat house with electric hook up, 17' Bass boat for rent $100/day $275/3 days $475/wk, 18' Pontoon boat $125/day $325/3days $550/wk. We have 2 kayaks for your use at your own risk right in your backyard. We do not allow children under 13 yrs of age to stay, due to some unforseen damages that have occurred. Our house is located 12 miles from Interstate 75 and the Florida turnpike in rural Inverness only 3.5 miles from historic downtown with grocery stores, shops, restaurants, and parks. (Liberty Park, Howard Wallace Park, Cooter Park, Whispering Pines Park, and Fort Cooper state park.) The Withlacoochee State Trail is a 46 mile paved rail-trail for walking and biking with access just 2.5 miles from the house.
This property is conveniently located approximately an hour and 15 minutes from Disney, Busch Gardens Tampa, Sea World, Aquatica, Universal, and both Tampa and Orlando International Airports.
If you are looking to just relax, stay at the house and enjoy fishing from the dock, kayaking, drinking coffee on the screen room porch watching the wildlife in the backyard, or grilling on the BBQ grill for dinner. There is also plenty of fishing if you bring your own boat, kayak or jet ski for the lake, nearby rivers and the Gulf of Mexico a short 20-25 miles away. There are also many public golf courses within a 30 minute drive to choose from.
There are a variety of chain and Mom & Pop restaurants, parks, museums and shops within 5 miles or just a short drive away you could visit some of our State Parks; Weeki Wachee, Homosassa Springs, Rainbow River, Hunter Springs, Three Sister Springs to name a few that are sure to please and show off our crystal clear springs and our Nature Coast, home of the Manatees and abundant wildlife to all who visit.
Come and enjoy relaxing or the many water activities such as kayaking, snorkeling clear waters, tubing, boating, fishing, scalloping or a day at Fort Island Beach.

Cute house on a great property!

This cute 2 bedroom/bath house was just what we were looking for! Everything was exceptionally clean and I loved the lake vibe!! It was fun to sit out on the porch every morning and evening to watch the local wildlife. I wish I could give it 20 stars!!

There wasn't one single thing that I did not like about this place It was absolutely wonderful everything the boat riding the comfortable couches the comfortable beds the linens the kitchen the bathrooms I mean everything was absolutely beautiful we enjoyed ourselves very much. Stayed for 5 days and we plan on going back in December.

A five star place!

You never know what you’re going to get when you stay in any of these rentals but we hit the jackpot on this place. It was beautiful, well stocked, very clean and not one time did we ever need something that wasn’t there and available. We actually went the entire weekend without having to contact the owners for anything.We’ve stayed at a lot of places and that has never happened. We really enjoyed the use of the pontoon boat,that was an added treat. Fishing was awesome. Caught four 4lb bass right off the dock. Honestly, I don’t know how we could have found a better place, a more entertaining place with two of the nicest host that we’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Very,very accommodating. Our thanks go out to the Fraysers for sharing their little piece of heaven with us.

Super place!

The house was extra clean and better than I hoped for. I loved the porch and water view. The best part was being able to rent their boat that was already in the water waiting for me to fish. Super great hosts who were very accommodating. We will stay here anytime we visit this area in the future.

Best vacation!

This was the nicest rental property we've ever stayed in. Everything was clean, anything you'd need was provided, and the host responded quickly to any questions we had. We had a great time taking some friends out on the pontoon boat. Town is close enough for groceries, dinner etc, but sitting out on their patio at sunset made you feel like being out in nature.

Lake House family vacation

This home was by far one of the very best I have been to with our family. We travel to Florida frequently, and also for baseball more frequently, so we have been to a good amount of VRBO homes. They had everything! Space, amenities, cleanliness. Every detail and aspect was by far top notch. Monique and Dave are the nicest people you could ever meet. So accommodating and even gave very good advice of where to find fish, which was so important for our family. Even the neighbors were friendly. A beautiful home and beautiful view. Top notch hosts

The hosts were amazing for the entirety of the trip. They keep in contact during the tropical storm and brought extra supplies incase of power outage. The pontoon boat was perfect for cruising the lake. The place was well furnished and comfortable especially during the afternoon naps on the couch and recliner. Well definitely be staying here again in the future

Perfect Stay

We were very pleased with this home. It had everything we could possibly need for our week stay. The kitchen was well equipped, the boat dock had power already set up to recharge the boat batteries. The furniture was up to date and comfortable. We really enjoyed our week of fishing.
