Having spent my summers on the Bras d’Or lake as a child I knew what I was getting with regards to lake (it is clear, warmer than the ocean, salt water —perfect to me!), but this was my first stay at Lakeside Luxury. I booked the cottage which was a great option for privacy, the screened porch was perfect for the mornings and evenings to get away from bugs. “I can’t overstate what a wonderful time we had at this property. We were there for the better part of two weeks and didn’t want to leave - the views of rolling fields and the Bras D’Or were expansive and peaceful; the cottages were super well appointed and exuded so much character; the location was just outside Baddeck was perfect.The hosts were super helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. We truly couldn’t ask for more, and look forward to a return visit to explore even more of magical Cape...

“Nous avons apprécié nous retrouver en nature dans ce lieu si calme avec une vue magnifique et de beaux couchers de soleil. Il y a tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner et même quelques aliments pour dépanner le premier soir si on a oublié d'arrêter à l'épicerie. Il faut bien sûr un véhicule à quatre roues motrices pour monter la côte et il peut arriver que le wifi ne soit pas accessible mais ça ne dure pas longtemps.”
