“This hotel, aka the Great Northern from the tv-series Twin Peaks, is very nice and comfy. The surroundings with the waterfall is astounding! And the rooms feel very authentic and a bit like timber houses. The restaurant was great and the views over the fall, wow!!”

“The Summit Inn feels like it was a top of the line hotel 30-40 years ago, and while still decently maintained, it hasn’t had an upgrade since. I’ve stayed there twice now, both during the off season, and it has been cheap and relatively pleasant. The brewery and restaurant across the street are fantastic, perfect for an after-hike refuel. The attached restaurant has classic greasy spoon diner food and huge portions. ”

“Everything was perfect, from the quaintness of the cabin to the communication with the host! It was exactly as described, and we came prepared! The only thing that didn’t go as planned was the hot plate, we couldn’t get our water to boil for some mac&cheese, but we had a backup! Our puppies loved paddling around in the water, and the scenery was to die for!”

“There is a delapatated, abandoned house on this property that is intentionally left out of photos. There is a narrow, unlevel path from the driveway down to the lakefront site that makes you cross over an ustable "bridge" made of house siding, and some uneven cinderblocks as "steps". You must traverse this to unolad gear and any time you access the honey bucket. The honey bucket is not cleaned before you arrive, but theres a cleaning fee for each day you stay. There are horsetail weeds...

“The apartment is well-supplied and pleasantly furnished. The heating system is very slow-acting. Fortunately they supply a plug-in electric heater to heat up the bedroom (or wherever you are) more quickly. Even though it feels so remote, it's not a long drive to North Bend or Snoqualmie Falls.
