“I wanted a trip to escape with my kiddos and be in nature!! This was exactly that. We enjoyed every minute and the best part was we were left alone. There was enough dishes for a family of 4. Theres a microwave, small toaster oven (I thought I could make puzza and you have to 4th the pizza to do so), there's a grilling grate, so we brought tin foil for burgers; super good. “Great little cabin in a fairly remote area. Access to Lake Superior South shore is about a 20 min hike on a nice trail. Amenities feel very similar to most commercial/county campsites. Plenty of parking. Keep in mind there is no AC on the cabin but there is heat. Fun little place to stay.”

“My daughters and their families gathered at this property which worked beautifully for us. The kids are ages 2-9 and enjoyed fishing, kayaking, sand construction, swimming, and the upstairs lofted kids’ hangout. The set-up with the separate spaces over the garage and two bedrooms within the main cabin provided ample space for families to spread out for sleeping. Attention has been given to details including decorating, cooking, playing, etc. We have already booked for next year! ”

“We very much enjoyed our stay. It was a great landing spot within quick driving distance of so many hiking trails, beaches, and waterfalls that we couldn’t find time to see them all! Also a quick drive to town where you can find anything you might need. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms are bigger than they look in the pictures. The yard was a nice place to relax around the fire at night and watch the stars. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely return. ”
