“As temperatures continue to rise it would be nice to have air conditioning. Not the norm throughout Essen.”

“Personalen var trevlig. Rummet rymligt, bekväm säng och bra AC. Frukosten var ok.”

“The room was very nice, clean and modern. However the staff was not the friendliest. There was no AC in the room with 30 degrees outside, it took down the whole experience. Breakfast was ok. The parking was nice and close but limited space.”

“Beautiful location 5 minute walk to Villa Hugel. Warm summer days in the 90s temps makes sleeping a challenge. No air conditioning. Otherwise property checks many boxes.”

“Vi tyckte om hotellet även om det var lite svårt att hitta dit. En utskriven karta kan hjälpa. :)”

“Dålig sängbelysning”

“The room greeted me with a cracked mirror. The company sells this as an apartment hotel or leads you to believe that. But, it had ZERO refridgerator. I needed that because I had to do some work in a neighborhood in the next town totally cutoff from restaurants. So this was a big problem. Also, the interior had a depressing vibe. “If you want a very small double room for two persons with one pillow, this is a great catch. To be honest, the first room was amazing. The next one the smallest When we needed to change we also had an accident with our printer and was charged 17 euros for a «Destroyed linen» Which could be easily washed. We complained about the room and wanted at least a pillow They said the would reply on email. They did not and the pillow is forever absent”

“Bokade detta hotell helt random & blev positivt överaskad. Enda smolket i bägaren var den stenhårda madrassen som höll mig vaken i några timmar.”

“A beautiful castle just off the road to Hamburg. Service wise, almost great. Only real let down was the exceedingly expensive breakfast that was really not worth the €30 that for 3 people almost felt like extortion. Some cold fish, a few cheeses and some tired looking charcuteries. Pancakes were fine as was the scrambled egg and bacon. But an extra €12.50 for Eggs Benedict, come on, that really is taking the biscuit! Also, had never heard of Rooibos tea, wich really was surprising for a place...
