“This may be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The neighborhood is great, but the hotel is a repurposed apartment building and rooms have multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, W/D, balcony. AMAZING. Clean, sleek, updated, perfect. I wish there was one of these in every city in the world.”

“Dorothy's place was great for my needs! As a single traveler, I only needed one room for one night. The premises was clean, close to Wrigley Field, and served its purpose. It was also a relatively affordable rate given area hotels. I would definitely stay here again!”

“Feels like a glorified “serviced apartment” more than a hotel — no staff onsite except the occasional cleaning person. No luggage storage, but there are locations nearby to store your bags (via Bounce, ~ $15 for 2 bags for the day).
With that said, the room was clean, cool, and comfortable. Great price compared to other accommodations in the area — location is A+, walkable to many bars & restaurants and the red line. All communication with the property was clear. Overall, would stay again.”

“Easy check-in experience and kind staff in lobby, however the place has absolutely 0 security. The door to my shared room had a digital lock but it didn’t work, so the door couldn’t lock. As I woke up in the morning and was on my way out at around 8.30-9 there were two random people (not paying guests) sleeping in the lobby and behind the front desk.
Sure it’s a clean place and great for a cheap stay in Chicago, just don’t bring any valueables what so ever. ”
