“We very much enjoyed staying at Lorraine's place. The cottage is well maintained. There was even a hand written note when we arrived. We didn't get his name, but a nice shepherd minds his sheeps in the area, with whom whe learned about farming and croft life. name name but was very lovely. ”

“This charming cottage is even better in person than in pictures. We stayed 3 nights to explore Skye and our host, Liz, kept in constant contact with us to make sure we were taken care of. It felt like home away from home, with the best host we’ve ever had in our lives. There is a nice creek by the cottage to stroll and it is very quiet. “The house is superbly equipped and modernly furnished. There is no traffic as the house is at the end of a small path right on the seafront. But the best feature is the view over the bay of Uig and the harbour. ”

“The hillside location gives amazing view across Lochbay.Waternish is a convenient location to get all across the island.The cottage has tonnes of character and is very homely. There was lots of space for the 3 of us.We appreciated the washer and dryer!There is heating in every room and a log fire which we enjoyed in the evenings.The house was immaculately clean and comfortable. There is a large selection of games for children of all ages.We had excellent communication with the owner throughout.”
