En fantastisk bungalow (STB 5 star) nära lokala bekvämligheter och pubar.

"Ardmore" är en fantastisk lyx 3 sovrum (2 badrum) fristående bungalow i ett fantastiskt läge och har utsikt över havet eller bergen från alla rum. Det är klart, möblerade och utrustade till högsta standard och fullt förtjänar sin 5 stjärnor från Scottish Tourist Board (deras högsta utmärkelse). Det finns omfattande privata trädgårdar på baksidan med massor av parkering för flera bilar
Beläget i byn Broadford, den näst största bosättningen på Skye, är Ardmore inom bekvämt gångavstånd från lokala restauranger, pubar, affärer etc. Broadford är en idealisk centrum för att turnera hela Skye och Wester Ross.

Lounge - Loungen är rymlig och från burspråk finns utmärkt utsikt över bukten och Kinloch kullar. Här ryms sex personer med lätthet och har en massiv ek golv och en funktion kalksten spis. För underhållning finns det en 47 tums TV med Sky, DVD-spelare och ett utbud av DVD och CD-skivor.

Sovrum 1 och 2 - Båda dubbelrum har rymliga badrum och njuta av panoramautsikt över Broadford Bay och de röda Cuillins. Sovrum 1 har en king size himmelssäng. Sovrum 2 har en storlek king släde säng. Båda rummen är utrustade med hårtork och platt-TV.

Sovrum 3 - Sovrum 3 är ett dubbelrum med magnifik utsikt över Röda Cuillins. En hårtork och plattskärms-tv finns.

Kök - Köket är fullt utrustat och utrustade med kvalitet massivt trä enheter. Apparaterna (spis, kyl, frys, diskmaskin) är Neff och alla är integrerade. Det finns också en mikrovågsugn och platt-tv. Ett bord och stolar finns för dem som vill till frukost i köket snarare än i den formella matsalen.

Dining Room - Matsalen har franska dörrar som öppnas på en stor uteplats. En gas grill och trädgårdsmöbler finns för dem som tycker om "den stora utomhus".

Tvättstuga - Verktyget Rummet har en tvättmaskin och torktumlare

Badrum - Det utmärkande för de viktigaste badrummet är kast översta fristående badkar.

Perfect Week in Skye

We are so thankful we booked this property. It was spacious, well appointed and better than the pictures. Sunrises and Sunsets were beautiful over the water and mountain. The views were fantastic and Ian was a delight to communicate with. Especially for food recommendations, which we appreciated. Broadford had everything we needed and was central to all our travels. We were able to walk to the end of the road for food and a very short walk to access to the beach to explore tide pools each night. We had a sunny week with no midges and would absolutely return.

Lovely large property for family stay

We had a super stay at Ardmore cottage. The 3 bed property was much larger than expected, was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for self catering stay. Broadford is a great base for exploring Skye and Kyle of Lochalsh and we would happily stay at Ardmore again.

Very nice and spacious house on Skye

Located in a quiet area in Broadford, yet very close to local restaurants and supermarkets, we found the cottage an excellent home base for our travels on Skye. Very friendly host, thanks again for the tip to visit Elgol! We spent a great day doing the boat trip to Loch Coruisk, even seeing seals and dolphins on the way.

Fantastic three day stay

Fantastic three day stay. Everything we needed and more. The rooms are extremely spacious and well equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean and easily accessible. Location is great. We managed to explore the island and found local eateries and shops to be very handy. A perfect stay!!!

Amazing Host and Home

This was the perfect stay on the isle of Skye and the host Ian was amazing. His home has tons of room, all conveniences is perfectly situated for day trips on both the Isle on the rest of the western Highlands. Ian was so helpful especially when we got into a bit of car trouble, he kindly assisted throughout. We definitely too anyone journeying to the Western Highlands.

Fantastic place to stay

An early Christmas surprise for our mum and dad made even more special as house was so homely. So much that my dad didn't want to leave. Amazing & Unforgettable

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ardmore. It was beautiful and really made our holiday extra special. It was extremely clean, welcoming and very spacious. We were touched by the welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits and fruit which was greatly appreciated after our long journey. It’s in a perfect location for exploring the picturesque Isle of Skye with places to eat nearby as well as a very convenient supermarket and petrol station. Everything had been thought of and we felt totally at home, so much so, we did not want to leave. It has set the bar high for any future accommodation booked elsewhere. We hope to return again one day. Thank you Ian and Anne for such perfect accommodation.

Great Location

Ardmore is located in the perfect position on Skye. It is quiet but close to all the necessary ameneties which are needed for a holiday. Lots of lovely walks nearby, and the cottage is very comfortable to relax in after a long day in the country side.

Great Location for exploring Skye and boating

The property is a credit to the owner, we had a great time. Milk, sugar coffee, tea, and a bag of ice etc waiting for us on arrival, also a lovely basket of fresh fruit, we cannot fault the property. Ample parking and a quality outdoor hose pipe was great for hosing my Rib down after a trip out to sea. We met Ian the owner who was lovely.

Ardmore is simply a stunning property, it has absolutely everything you need, it is spacious, classy and warm... even in mid February, the views from the cottage are breathtaking. It is in a great location, quiet but near enough to walk to restaurants and a perfect base for exploring the island. The owner Ian was welcoming and friendly, he went out of his way to come and help us.. even in the pouring rain! He regaled us with a couple of funny stories and recommendations for restaurants and local walks. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Great place for a Christmas break

We stayed for 7-days over Christmas 2021 and had a wonderful time. A beautifully presented property in an ideal location for touring. Everything was spot-on, just as listed, couldn't fault it. Very warm and cosy especially considering it was winter. The Christmas tree and decorations were a really nice touch and much appreciated. The Isle of Skye was stunning as expected - we were quite surprised just how quiet the roads were as we thought there would be more tourists (like us!) having Christmas breaks there. We would highly recommend Ard More to anyone.
