Jesuit Mission of Jesus de Tavarangue in Paraguay. This religious mission is still preserved and were founded by the Jesuit missioners during the colonization of South America in the 17th century. These religious missions were created in 1609 and developed for 150 years.
The Jesuit Ruins in Trinidad, Paraguay is the least visited UNESCO World Heritage site, in the world.

It is a beautiful place and what makes it more so is that it is very likely you will have the place to yourself.

The ruins are loacted near the city of Encarnacion and you can even visit, for the day, from the Argentinian city of Posadas.
